We had a wedding at Round Barn and Bryce’s home worked perfectly for our group. I am sure the home would be wonderful during ski season too.

Bryce’s home is clean, well appointed and close to great skiing at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. My family enjoyed a wonderful weekend on the slopes and then warming up in front of the fireplace.

A Waitsfield Wonder
We stayed at the house for our annual ski trip to the Mad River Valley and it was fantastic. So much so that I almost DON'T want to leave a review in order to keep this a hidden gem. The house slept our group comfortably, plenty of storage for ski gear when you come in, an open but comfortable kitchen/dining/relaxing area. The wood stove & wifi were simply bonuses for a relaxing couple of days off the grid. The owners were responsive to questions before the trip and made the entire experience as relaxing as we had hoped. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had an excellent ski weekend with some friends. The property was very cozy. The pictures do not do it justice I was very impressed with the woodwork in the home. Check in and check out was easy and the location was lovely.

We loved the secluded setting in the woods, and the rustic feel of the home, well constructed and designed, very cozy. Couldn't imagine a better spot for our Thanksgiving dinner with family. The owners were extremely attentive to any questions and needs. We recommend very highly, and hoping to go back for some skiing!

Great ski house
We had a great week at this house over the New Years holiday- skied at mad river glen and sugarbush and enjoyed the great amenities of the mad river valley and the beautiful location of this House. The property is excluded with land for the kids to play but super convenient to everything. The house was even better than the photos and the property owner was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would rent this house again without hesitation.

Cozy mountain cabin
We had a wonderful time staying in this home. It has a great layout with a large mudroom and hooks to keep out the cold and ski stuff. The fireplace makes the whole house super cozy with plenty of dry wood stacked right outside the door. Just a few mins to Waitesfield and 15 mins to Mad River glen or Sugarbush. We also enjoyed xcountry skiing at Oles around the corner. Bruce was very responsive and helpful. I hope to come back to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this quintessential Vermont country home and would strongly recommend to others. The fire place is was terrific and the proximity to the cross country trails was ideal. We had four girls under the age of four who all had a great time and didn’t want to leave (neither did the parents).

Great house
It was perfect for our family. We skied for three days. Finished their large puzzle on the table, had fires and it slept 9 comfortably! Definitely a repeat rental!

Spacious, private & comfortable house in the Valley
I spent a wonderful week at this Waitsfield house. It's nicely removed from the main road, which gave us a sense of privacy and comfort with kids running around. The house is well equipped with linens, towels and a nicely stocked kitchen. The pictures aren’t able to show the beautiful tall post and beam ceilings which make the bedrooms feel quite spacious. Bruce was extremely responsive in answering my questions before, during and after our stay. I hope to rent the house again in the near future.

Great farmhouse in Beautiful area
Cozy cabin/house very close to Warren and Waitsfield. Bruce - the owner- was outstanding. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the toys and games for our family. Very quiet- far from the road and other houses. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home in great location!
This home is large and inviting, perfect short stay for our family. We were close to two towns but far enough away to enjoy privacy. The owner Bruce was responsive and helpful during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Ski Chalet
Great chalet located within 15 minutes of Sugarbush ski resort. The house is modern and cozy located down a beautiful secluded driveway. It easily accommodated 6 of us but could also work for later groups of 10-12 if willing to share bedrooms. The property owner Bruce was very welcoming and responsive. I would definitely rebook this property if returning in the future.

Charming, cozy house
We loved our stay at Bruce and family's Vermont home. It was cozy, warm, and in a beautiful setting. The driveway was a little tricky to access mid-winter with our 2WD rental car (just a warning to others) but the place housed our group of friend's perfectly.

Perfect place to stay
The home has all of it. We group of three families stayed there with young kids for a fall trip fun. This house is added for our fun, it has completely everything waht you need. We enjoyed having breakfat at outside bench and loved the stay all together.

We felt so at home in this beautiful house. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Loved to walk the property past the stream and the neighboring Holstein cattle. Very peaceful. A true Vermont experience!

Cozy Mountain House
Very nice house in a great location. Between Warren & Waitsfield, and close to Sugarbush. It has a nice fireplace and lots of beds, open kitchen, perfect for families and a big group. Close to great restaurants, farmers market and swimming holes ... but nestled in the woods away from it all. We can't wait to come back in the winter!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful setting
Our families traveled from Queens to this wonderful home for a long summer weekend. The space was well-kept and felt more spacious than the photos even suggested. The owner was available instantaneously when we had a few quick questions... I appreciated not waiting around for an answer on my vacation. Finding a stockpile of toys was an added bonus. I highly recommend it for a large family or small group like ours!

Perfect Mad River Valley Destination
Bruce's home is perfectly situated in the scenic Mad River Valley. It has everything your group might need. The rooms are spacious and its perfect place for a group. The house is immaculate and Bruce is an excellent communicator getting back to you very promptly with any questions. This is one of the best places we've stayed in the Valley and look forward to staying here again soon.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway with the family at this beautiful house in Waitsfield. Close to Mad River and Sugarbush, the location could not be more ideal. The setting is wonderful surrounded by 20 acres and close to hiking and cross country ski trails. The house is pristine with a great kitchen and a great fireplace (critical!). Lots of bedrooms and bunks for adults and kids. Great front porch for breathing the fresh air and enjoying the views.

Lovely home nestled in the woods - close to wide open cross country fields which this year lent to exploration on snow shoes or boots with Ice crampons - found a old beaver pond trail with a snowshoe path which was breathtaking.
Fire in the evening - with a wonderful lounging chair - house worked for 6 adults and 3 children

We stayed here for the month of July, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house is quite new, with soaring ceilings and an open floor plan, but manages at the same time to be comfortable and homey. We spent a good deal of time relaxing on the covered front porch, admiring the wild flower meadow that surrounds the house and watching the wildlife. A mother deer and her fawn were regular visitors and we one evening saw a young moose.
Wonderful drives,farm stands, hiking, kayaking and tubing are all nearby, as are a number of good restaurants.
A great, 4 season vacation home--we would definitely recommend it!
