Location was lovely, beautiful view of both the coastline and vineyard. The pool was terrific. The donkeys were gorgeous. A great stay 😍
Living room furniture was not very comfortable, but the bed was terrific and the bedrooms were stunning

The location is beautiful with superb views over to Poor Knights Island from every room and the deck.
The property is tastefully fitted out with everything you need for a relaxing break.

The beach style of the location, cleanliness and especially the great long distance views to the sea, eg..the Poor Nights Islands.
The place with one of the best ocean views in Tutukaka, I guess..They should call it Ocean view Appartments, rather than vineyard Appartments.
Quite remote, but that can be a plus too for those who want tranquillity.

This is an exceptional location, poised between the vineyard and the sea. The views from everywhere in the apartment are superb, the winetasting is great and the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed!! We cannot recommend it enough - it's a wonderful getaway.

the location is stunning; the adopted animals heartwarming; Grant was welcoming, friendly and helpful; the bedrooms were quite beautiful and it was great to have a choice of bathrooms. we appreciated the self contained element which allowed us to prepare meals. also love the pool.
I would recommend more comfortable lounge furniture. it was hard to snuggle up and enjoy reading or a movie and given that we stayed through the worst weather of the year, we would have enjoyed more comfort.

The location is exceptional. Was a true break from city life. Loved having all the rescue animals.
The weather got a bit wild, so we had to close windows or have the rain come in, so it got pretty warm inside at night.

it’s an exceptional place to stay. Super clean apartment with everything you need. Good taste of interior decoration. The sea view from the living room and bedrooms are amazing. The private beach just wonderful. And the owner is very nice. It’s a place I would definitely go back.

The location, the sea views and accessibility to some of the best beaches in New Zealand
I would not suggest driving at night because the villa is on a vineyard and the road leading to the villa is not well lit at all so it can be dangerous.

The Vineyard Apartment suffered a broken water pipe the day before we were due to arrive so our kind hosts upgraded us to the Cottage instead. So this review is actually for the Cottage.
