We have been renting up the Poconos for the last 5 years and this was the best rental by far. We all enjoyed everything about the house and the location worked out great for us. We actually reached out last year to see the place so my husband and I went to check it out then they even allowed me to go back a second time so my daughter and granddaughter could check it out. Ever time I reached with a question they were quick with response. Getting ready to book it again for next year. You won't be disappointed.

My friends and I, along with our families stayed from Friday to Monday to celebrate New Years together. Every one of us had an amazing time. We created memories the adults and kids will never forget! Hoping to come back next year as well.

There was plenty of space for our family. We played games made our thanksgiving dinner had lots of fun conversation and lot of laughs.

We had 8 adults and a baby during our stay. We all we thoroughly impressed with how clean and organized the house was! The kitchen had all the items we needed to make large meals for our group, everything was well labeled, and the house was sparkling clean! We had a rainy weekend but were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities like the hot tub and deck. We even saw wildlife right from the kitchen window! We really loved the layout of the house which was perfect for our group. Can’t wait to come back and couldn’t recommend this space enough!

Could use some better maintenance and cleaning which were communicated with the owner, but overall was a good stay. Nice location if you have plans around Lake Harmony.

This was a great rental for our 6-person weekend get-together. The property looks like the pictures, which is always refreshing. House was large and well-kept. Owner was very responsive and all of the rental processes and check-in were very well detailed.

We had trouble getting in due to the wrong code but the owners promptly helped us.
Overall the house was very nice and suited our needs. My son was getting married so we rented the house for the whole bridal party and parents to stay in so we could get ready together. There was plenty of room for us all
Neither of the fireplaces work which was a shame because it was a cold and rainy weekend.
The thing we were most unhappy with was the hot tub. When we arrived we turned it up right away. It never got warm. We contacted the owners and once again the were super prompt with their response. They helped up to get it working. It failed a number of times during the weekend. That was very disappointing

Number One Item is tub and showers were gross. Moldy so much so that no one wanted to take second shower. Not a one missed cleaning type mold but months if not years of neglect. they should do more than put “Sanitized for your protection” sleeves on the toilets.
Custom cornhole area is not custom. Just a cornhole set out in the side yard. We played in driveway as there isn’t enough room in side yard.
All the outlets in the home that are supposed to be GFIC outlets don’t appear to be. There’s merely home made stickers which says GFIC on the non GFIC outlets. When running 3 counter top appliances in kitchen, it tripped the circuit breaker in the Main Electrical Box. While resetting breaker labeled GFI KITCH, realized breaker does not appear to be a GFI. Also noticed a row of breakers labeled “Blank”. They were all ON.
Broken and missing drawers in refrigerator
Gas grill on deck was filthy, but did have extra gas cylinder.
Trash can lid was in dishwasher when we arrived.
Location is great, beach is small and crowded. Fishing is non existent on Lake Harmony unless you have a means of getting out into water.
Hot tub was clean and hot. Liked the pool table. Air conditioning kept house comfortable.

We enjoyed our time in the Poconos. We very much enjoyed our time in the hot tub. The fire pit was lots of fun. The kids found sticks to roast marshmallows and the smores were great. We also enjoyed both the lake in the development and the lake at the nearby state park. Also, we had a great time in Jim Thorpe visiting the Harry Potter coffee shop and the train ride.

We were an extended family of 10 people, including 3 children and we stayed the July 4 week. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. The owner gave us plenty of information about shopping, restaurants and activities ahead of time and they were very responsive to the couple of things we contacted them about. The kitchen was very well equipped including a crock pot, mixer and blender! The necessities were well stocked to get us started - toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.
There is a lot to do in the area. The lake access is right at the bottom of the neighborhood the house is located in and parking was not a problem. Beach tags are included in the rental. The small beach was perfect for young children and swimming was great for adults as well. There are boat rentals available (kayak, paddle boats, etc) nearby. There are plenty of restaurants at Lake Harmony and in the surrounding area, though we ate in most nights. A couple of small grocery stores are close by, with bigger ones a bit farther.
All in all a very nice week! We enjoyed our stay!

Myself and 9 friends rented this house for a little less than a week, we all had a wonderful time. They loved having room to both spread out (separate living rooms, pool table, hot tub, deck) and come together (games at the table, grilling/group meals). The property was clean, well stocked, and well labeled. (I especially appreciated the labels for the lights, remotes, and kitchen area.) Because of the off and on rain we didn't use the firepit or the cornhole set but we very much appreciated that they were available.
I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a beautiful home with all the amenities!

This was a lovely property and suited our group well! Kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of often overlooked things, such as pillows and hooks to hang towels and jackets. We enjoyed the views and the hot tub!

Just returned home from a 3 night getaway with my fellow colleagues/ friends and could not be happier with the house and location we picked. It was really quiet and the snow was beautiful. We enjoyed three days filled with laughter, games, and eating (kitchen had everything you’ll need). In addition, the owners were super responsive when we had questions about check out and had the driveway plowed for us before we left. 10/10 for any group/ family of 10-12 just looking for some R & R in cozy, yet spacious cabin in the Poconos.

This was absolutely the nicest rental I have stayed in! The property was extremely clean and well maintained, a little rustic with modern amenities. We had 2 younger children with us that loved the game room area and playing around the property. The adults had a blast hanging out by the fire pit. We went skiing one day and it was very convenient that Big Boulder was only 8 minutes away. If you're planning a larger family vacation, this is the place to be!

We enjoyed our stay and went during the winter for a long weekend to ski. Very close to Jack Frost and Big Boulder. Ski Conditions were not great so we were happy to have a great place to hang out. We had two families stay there with kids aged 17-23. The first level game room was a big hit. Plus we had plenty of room for group dinners in the big kitchen/dining room. Kitchen was well stocked for the meals we made. We brought video games and it worked well downstairs. The only problem we had was one toilet got clogged but they sent a plumber right out to fix it.

Amazing property, beautiful quiet location. My family came here for a one week Thanksgiving get together. We had 2 infants with us. There was a good amount of space for the babies to crawl around, and ample rooms for naptimes (we used black out curtains). Don't forget to bring towels and paper products! There are no towels here, and limited paper towels/toilet paper! FYI too, if traveling with kids, the temps are a little tricky in the colder nights to regulate from floor to floor, but we managed! The hot tub and pool table were a huge hit.
The check out instructions mentioned that their cleaning crew has a limited time with the house, so there were several additional steps we needed to take (not only running dishwasher, but also putting dishes and things away - a little difficult when getting ourselves ready for checkout in the morning after having coffee or breakfast with a big family, etc.). This was a shame, given the higher cleaning fee.
That aside, we loved our stay here and found the place so charming. Thank you for making us feel at home!

We had a weekend get-a-way with four families. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots of fun things to do. The pool table and hot tub were big hits with everyone. The location is great and close to everything.

The house was beautiful. The open kitchen to the living room created a nice hangout space for my group. The downstairs had a pool table and easy access to the hot tub (right outside the door). There’s 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the ground level floor. There’s 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main floor (where the kitchen is) and then there’s the top floor which is like a loft (but it is closed off as the master bedroom) with an on suite bathroom and balcony. Loved our stay.

The house was perfect for our group of 12. We came to the Poconos for the first time to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. The house had plenty of space to spread out and accommodate everyone. The pool table and fire pit were the highlight of the trip as we used to fire pit to make s’mores and hang out by the fire. As far the cleanliness of the property, it wasn’t spotless. There were cobwebs in a lot of places around the house. Now, we aren’t a picky group but it was something we all noticed. Overall, the house was not dirty. There was a slight issue with the shower head in the downstairs bathroom the first night and Kathy/Tim responded quickly and the repair man came the next morning to fix it. We definitely enjoyed our weekend stay and would recommend a stay at this property.

We had a family reunion for 7 adults and 7 children at the Lake Harmony home. It was well equipped, clean, had lots of space for a big group, great dining area with plenty of seats, and beds for all (pillows are flat, so bring your own). The jacuzzi & pool table were highlights! The fire pit area was a tad disappointing as there are wrought iron patio chairs that freeze your bum and not the quintessential Pocono/Mountain home Adirondack ones. The hosts were very responsive and nice to work with. We’d recommend this home for any large group!

Our group of 9 adults had plenty of room to spread out. We headed to the Poconos for some early fall hiking and biking. It was a little to chilly to go in the lake. The kitchen was well stocked for our breakfast and dinner prep. We made use of the pool table, fire pit, and hot tub at night and played lots of board games and dominoes around the big table. The accommodations were just right. Great gathering space for a crowd and enough comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Tim and Kathy answered questions quickly and offered some suggestions for local activities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to other travelers.

The house was prefect for my group of 10 friends. Skirmish paintball is only about 15 minutes away and it was great to come back to house with comfortable beds and enough space for us all to sit around and relax after 7 hours of paintball. Would definitely recommend.

Our group of 10 adults and 7 children fit comfortably in the house. We enjoyed the short (yet hilly) distance to the lake. We saw the black bear and deer each day of our stay. We used the fire pit each night for s’mores and enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances needed for our stay to eat each meal at home. Our family hiked nearby trails at Hickory State Park and spent most of the days at the lake. We would definitely like to stay again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Harmony. The home was plenty big enough, it was clean, and we had everything we needed. I liked the fact that it was up on the hill in the woods rather than down by the lake where it was very noisy. I wish we could have stayed another couple of days to use the fire pit and pool table - we were busy hiking, kayaking, and riding the rail bikes in Hawley! Our only issue was that the downstairs was very cold. Maybe we needed to open or close some vents, but we never did figure it out. Otherwise, all was great! Highly recommended!

Perfect for our annual get together with friends
All was wonderful, lots of space, kids liked having their own space in the basement. Only problem was that in the bedrooms with Queen beds, the sheets kept coming off the beds at night, old sheets, stretched out elastic. Firepit was nice, Neighborhood was pleasant. Property Manager was very available!

Lake Harmony
The property worked well for us as a family of 17 with ages 9- 73. A large range of activities were available on the property and in the area. All 3 generations had a running pool tournament; we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area with deer coming in close. The close proximity of a large bear was not so warmly welcomed.

Perfect home for a large family
This seven bedroom home was perfect for our yearly family reunion. The three levels provided room to gather as well as some privacy for adults. The owner answered our inquiries promptly and went out of his way to help us check in earlier. All the appliances were in perfect condition, the air conditioning worked well on all levels, and the hot tub was an added feature. There is a lovely deck with a gas grill which we used our first night for a large family dinner. The location was great and some of us walked to the Lake Harmony beach. The three bathrooms were very nice and there was plenty of hot water even the Saturday night when all 17 of us were taking showers after swimming in the lake. We highly recommend this spacious home to everyone.
