There are 3 sets of very steep stairs in this house (one going into the house and two inside) that should be noted in the listing. The beach access is over 100 pretty steep stairs with a ladder at the bottom to get to the beach. My husband has a prosthetic leg and stairs are hard to navigate. I would not have rented this house if I knew that. Now, me being picky…. The toilet paper sucked (1 ply and very ruff), same for paper towels in kitchen. The hand soap was also watered down and would not stay on your hands. Not sure that any of this saves them money since you have to use more to get the job done. The bedroom in the basement smelled a little musty probably because it’s next to an unfinished part of the basement where washer and dryer is. We had a pair of dirty socks in the bedroom on the main floor and cob webs around the whole room so I’m not sure how well they really clean. The rug under the dining room chair is disgusting (I was sweeping one day and lifted up a corner and underneath was very dirty and sandy). The dining room chairs are very wobbly and the cushions on them stick to the chairs leaving the backing of the cushions stuck to the chairs. The kitchen is well stocked but it really needs to be updated. I rented this for my family to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. For the price I paid I was really expecting more. The view and deck is awesome but that is about the only thing I enjoyed. I would not rent this place again, it needs major updating.

Property was just as advertised and perfect for the 4 adults and 4 kids staying there. Massive tide pools on the beach below the house, beautiful stretch of beach, and great access to Lincoln City while still feeling private.

It was a nice place although a bit outdated. I feel like the pictures online made it look bigger than it actually was. Still had a great time spending time with family. View was AWESOME!

The website is very accurate and everything seemed to work fine. Lovely space for 8 ladies. The hot tub was great! Very clean and cosy. The deck was amazing and well kept up. Beautiful place to sit right on top of the beach. The house isn’t brand new but it’s well maintained. 124 steps to the beach so not for the faint-of-heart. We would all love to come here again! This house is all about the views. Loved the wall of windows across the main floor - living room, dining room, family room. Even when the weather was less than stellar, we had a great view of the ocean and skyline from inside. The 89 stairs to the beach are not for the faint-hearted. But there are three resting spots (seating) along the way. Several of us used the stairs to the beach every day. Those with mobility issues drove the couple blocks to the public beach access.

Even 92 year old grandfather made the stairs! Views were beautiful- we saw whales from the deck. Everything was exactly as listed and the house is comfortable.

We had such a lovely time in this perfect beach rental! I liked that the house felt like it had three different sleeping sections for our family members to spread out in and have their own space. The view is incredible and the location provides a spot to enjoy the beach away from the crowds. The stairs to the beach were fine for most of us but those with knee problems started to feel pretty sore after the third day of climbing up and down (so keep that in mind). Thank you for allowing us to stay in this gem and make new family memories to cherish forever!

Tv may need adjusting as channels not accurate. Jets on hot tub not working. Lovely home and beautiful view!

The definition of magical is beautiful or delightful in such a way as to seem removed from everyday life. That's exactly what it's like to stay in this lovely home. The views are spectacular! The family all gathered on the deck and viewed the whales! We played ping pong and chess and cooked and enjoyed meals all while taking in the view. We played ball on the beach and explored the tide pools. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to eat in and a grocery store just minutes away. Our family LOVED every minute of staying at this wonderful home. I gave this rental five stars and would give more if available! Thanks for sharing your home with our family.

We travelled as an extended family and enjoyed the beautiful view every morning as we woke up to a window overlooking the ocean. It was serene.

The home was in an incredible location! Very clean! Beds and rooms were comfy and quiet. The only reasons that we can’t give it 5 stars is a couple of things. Be prepared as the bbq requires briquettes. Which would be fine if we had seen that in the description. But, we went out to grill and had to completely change gears once we realized. Second the water pressure in the main floor shower is non existent. And there was not enough hot water for more than 2 showers, even though there are 3 showers in the house. This was tough as it ran out quick and there were 10 of us staying in the house. Outside that, we really loved the property and the location on the beach, just need a couple of things addressed.

Dining area in between which connects with openness. Downstairs is another ping pong play area with bed-s for the kids. Bathroom on each level. Cute country bedroom on main level. Our bonus was the upstairs, berth type bedrooms (reminded me of those I imagine being for the captain on an old ship) completely done in various bead board panels. Very cool !! One can see or hear the ocean from everywhere. Big deck. 2 or 3 broken chairs (A-1 will fix) Nicely stocked kitchen. Everything working.But, for me the best part were the tidepools. We found lots of collectible shells and lots of non collectible amazing living creatures.

We really enjoyed our time here. The deck is incredible! We spent all our time out there. The house and beds could use a little updating.

The kitchen has almost anything you could need. The 2 living spaces allowed us to spread out a bit. We had some trouble with the tvs but it wasn't a super huge issue for us. Pirate’s Lookout is a quaint 1930’s cottage in a nice neighborhood with a beautiful, panoramic view of the ocean. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of exploring on the beach or hiking nearby trails. The only thing missing was good weather, but we took advantage of the cozy fireplace & kept a lookout for One-eyed Willie. A visit to Cape Foulweather nearby is a must for spectacular views. We enjoyed staying at this beach house, the view is gorgeous! The house overall was nice and spacious for the whole family. The camera outside caught us a little off guard that wasn’t mentioned in the posting. The stairs are pretty narrow inside the house and to the beach access for a heads up if you have kids and is quite a workout to get down there but after walking down it’s very private and so beautiful. We really loved being in the hot tub where you can enjoy the beach view as well. The basement could use some updating to look a little more inviting and unfortunately the tv didn’t work down there but other then that we would come back. :) had a great time with family and friends.

Great house for a family get together! Huge deck overlooking the waves, and loads of big windows for magnificent ocean watching. Hot tub was great, kitchen a bit small but was perfect for us. We will book this again!

Awesome place to stay but a lot of stairs. Awesome view from window to window.

Wanted a little getaway for our Anniversary so came with our two children , parents and Aunt and enjoyed every second. Kids and grandparents saw orcas while my husband and I enjoyed rock hounding right down the steps to the beach would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

The house was a great size and we loved the beachfront view. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, which we did a lot of as a big family. The hot tub was also great. Beach access was easy felt very private. My only complaint was that I didn’t find any of the beds to be comfortable. My lower back and hips would have preferred some higher quality beds but that’s personal preference. The property itself was great. Would love to stay here again if at least one of the beds was replaced with something higher quality. The DVD players and TV’s could also use some updating. The internet was hit or miss so being able to cast from our phone to watch a movie would have been nice. There was a good selection of older DVD’s, but some of the DVD players weren’t working.
