We had a lovely weekend with family,
We enjoyed the various amenities of the property. The property sits in a nice quiet neighborhood, such a beautiful cozy home with warm decor.
Shari was very quick to respond to questions that we had during the stay. Couldn’t ask for more, we will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend!

10 family members gathered in Lake Tahoe, from Idaho and California to celebrate Bruce and Marsha’s 50th wedding anniversary.

This property was amazing for our anual snowboarding trip. House is extremely roomie and doesn’t feel like everyone is on top of each other. The host was very responsive whenever we had any minor issues or we couldn’t figure something out in the house. This place is just down the road from stage coach lift.definitely recommend this place!

My family and I loved our stay here. It was a winter wonderland for our holiday vacation. This is a charming and beautifully appointed home that is even more lovely than the pictures. The great room and fireplace were perfect, the bedrooms very comfortable, and our teens loved the basement entertainment and game room. Very close to Heavenly and just 5-6 minute drive to Lake Tahoe. Shari and Bob were gracious hosts and incredibly responsive. We would highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay while visiting Lake Tahoe. VERY convenient to The Stagecoach and Boulder Lodge areas of Heavenly. The house backs up to National Forest with beautiful views out the back windows.

It is located within walking distance to one of our favorite hiking trails.

We had a little difficulty upon arrival with the alarm, related to our own unfamiliarity with the system. Shari was immediately available and able to walk us through it in literally seconds. We also had to contact her shortly after arrival about the hot tub, but again Shari was able to quickly resolve our problem. After those two initial requests for help there was no need for further communication during our entire stay because everything was so thoughtfully planned out and explained in the book. Shari touched base with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need if you actually lived in the home. Not just the basics for casual use but all equipment and tools needed for preparing full meals for a group with ease and convenience.
The house is great for almost any occasion but especially for any type of family gathering. The layout of the group spaces (kitchen, living room, deck, TV room) is perfect for clustering together in a group. It feels intimate and comfortable but still spacious.

-The deck/hot tub area is amazing. You feel like you are alone in the world with the trees blowing in the wind. Wait until dark and turn on the string lights.....just perfect.
-The beds were all noted (we didn't use the 5th room) as super comfortable (rare in my experience).
-The kitchen was stocked with literally anything I could think of/needed. While this would seem like common sense/bare minimum, it is NOT. This house had it all covered!
-The TV area is downstairs letting you split the vibe up (would be great for kids in my opinion). There is also ping pong table, both high end/cared for well.
-Wifi/Cable excellent
-Owners manual/tips very easy to follow and understand.

Fantastic weekend in Tahoe!
My friends and I came up for a weekend ski trip and had an incredible time! What stood out most about the house is that it is an actual home that people live in - not a soulless vacation rental property with cheap furniture, an unequipped kitchen, and intolerable beds. Quite the opposite, this home is well furnished with everything you need to have the perfect getaway - including a hot tub, entertainment center, and ping pong table. It is also located very close to the Nevada side of Heavenly, which made it the perfect ski house. I would highly recommend staying here!

Exquisite Tahoe Home
This is a gorgeous home with several beds to accommodate the whole family. There are 2 well equipped kitchens and a super fun family room with huge TV and surround sound. They have a ping-pong table and that was something super fun we hadn't done in a while. This home is a must for your next vacation.

Beautiful home!
Our experience was wonderful! The home is beautiful and the location was perfect. My family was very comfortable. We loved the views from all the large windows and the deck. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals along with a large table for eating and playing games. The bedrooms were all very nice and the beds were all comfortable. The home exceeded our expectations! Shari and Bob were wonderful hosts with answering our questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We look forward to returning next summer!

We stayed at this large, spacious, well decorated 5 bd 3 bath home tucked away on the hilltops of the Zephyr cove area in Tahoe.
It is a very quiet and nice neighborhood with greenery all around. The home is close to some nice trails and the backyard/deck is really serene.
The house was well kept and stocked for towels and soap or kitchen gadgets.
It was clear that the owners lived part time as many cabinets and shelves were locked with signs. The freezer and refrigerator on the main level were mostly stocked with the owner’s food. The refrigerator in the basement was empty which was not a great option for our short stay to run back and forth.
Many dishes inside the cabinets were not clean and in many cases, we had to wash things that were in the cabinets before using ( esp, glasses, spoons and cups).
The bedrooms were extremely dusty as the beds were clearly not used for a long time. We cleaned out the beds and aired the rooms to get rid of extra dust.
But this can happen in any vacation rental that is not regularly used. The hot tub does not go beyond warm temperatures (96-98).
The owner, Shari was very responsive to all our requests and even shipped a ChromeCast gadget back to me since we left it behind.
My overall experience was very good. Our family had an opportunity to bond and spend quality time at this important reunion. Thank you very much.

The most amazing home, the most welcoming host
I took my family (parents in their late 50's, siblings in their 20's) on a little family vacation to Tahoe. We decided to book Shari and Bob's home. OH BOY! What a Wonderfull home. Everything is so thoughtfully placed, you immediately feel like you are in a loving environment. This was perfect for the whole family! Its a short drive from the south Tahoe casino area, but far enough away that you feel privacy, which is exactly what we were looking for. We soaked in the hot tub, played board games, had a movie night in the entertainment room, cooked in such a well stocked and organized kitchen. My parents were blown away that they had the opportunity to stay here. Shari was the most wonderful host I have ever had, communication was excellent, she made sure we knew about the house features and nearby activities. Summary, House is large and warm, house is clean, location is great, host are amazing. Thank you Shari and Bob! Cant wait to stay again!

Snowboarding Getaway
We spent a weekend at Shari and Bob's place, a short summary: the house is amazing, communication with the host and check-in is straightforward, you can drive to the slopes in 5 minutes and there is an hot tub on the deck from which you can look at the star while being surrounded by snow and trees! I would definitely go back!

Ideal winter escape
Our stay here was ideal, from soaking in the hot tub while admiring the snow and surrounding forest to the short walk to the around-the-corner trailhead for the Tahoe Rim Trail. The owners responded quickly to the couple of questions we had about the house, which was clean, well-equipped and ready for our stay. The house was nicely furnished, and we found every room comfortable.

Perfect home for our extended family to gather!
We found just what we were looking for - enough rooms to accommodate 4 generations of our family in a beautiful forested area of Lake Tahoe! The home is beautiful and the owners have thought of all the details to make it as comfortable as possible. They also went above and beyond sending information ahead as well as answering many questions along the way, even while they were overseas! We definitely loved it and hope to return soon!

This was a very beautiful home in the hills of South Lake. House was clean and organized. Shari was extremely communicative and very informative about not only their property but also things to do in the area.
We had 4 couples and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We would definitely recommend this property!

Mega fabulous
5 couples to there to celebrate my husband’s 65th!
Loved everything- but unexpected delight was the care taken with planning the atmospheric tranquil lighting. Every switch has a dimmer- which I love because lighting makes a place warm and special. Huge dining table, very well equipped kitchen, very well equipped everything down to the robes and slippers in each bedroom.
When weren’t snow shooing or skiing we found the board and card games, played ping pong a lot, hung out in the hot tub, and just plain hung out and enjoyed each other in perfect get away. THANK YOU!!

Great stay over 2019 New Year weekend!
We were 5 couples up in Tahoe for the holiday weekend, and this house was perfect for us. It's about a 10-15 min drive downtown and to the lake. If you don't feel like driving, there are hiking trails literally up the street from the house. And if you don't feel like leaving at all, the hot tub and game room downstairs are excellent for hanging out.
The kitchen was a great size, and it opened up into the dining area, with a table perfectly sized for large dinners. The bedrooms were all comfortable. Every room has a queen bed or larger, except for one. That room has two twins that can be pushed next to each other if needed. It's a little smaller, but certainly a good space, especially if you have kids.
Communicating with Shari and Bob was really easy. I wish all rental owners were as responsive and friendly. We never had any issues during our stay, but I was confident that they'd be available if something came up. Hopefully we'll have more opportunities to stay in this house in the future. Thanks Shari and Bob!

One of a Kind
A wonderful home in the middle of Mother Natures beauty. There is nothing better than seeing dawn break through the hills and trees covered in snow. The home is just as wonderful inside as it is outside. The warm inviting rustic feeling transitions from room to room. There is ample space for a large family of all ages. My family and I cannot wait to return. My grandparents, parents, godparents, brother, husband, one year old son, and I fit perfectly in Bob and Shari's home. It is well equipped with all that you will need. If you are looking for a place away from all the noise this is it. You will have all the privacy and comfort you desire.
Other than a beautiful home, in the short time I conversed with Bob and Shari I learned that they are wonderful and honest people. They are quick to respond when you have questions or concerns.
We plan to make it back very soon.

FABULOUS in every way. This is a spectacular home and wonderful location!
Oh my! We love this home!! The owner thought of every detail. Everything is done with such class and taste. Spectacularly clean and fully equipped with every kitchen gadget you could think of. Having two kitchens was nice because we had a large group – and we could prepare part of the dinner in the downstairs kitchen, and part of it in the upstairs kitchen. We easily got all 10 of us around that magnificent log dining table. Cozy, warm inviting – deck with hot tub and special lighting in the trees was magical. Close to Nevada side of Heavenly – which we love because we don’t have to deal with the massive crowds of the California side and we can get on the slopes right away. This place is a winner. I’m choosing this home for all my visits to Heavenly. What a find.

There is so much to say about this gorgeous property!
Quiet neighborhood, ample parking, immaculately clean, large family table, well provisioned kitchen, beautiful dishware, hotel quality beds, roomy bathrooms, a master bedroom right out of a magazine, downstairs game room, and a back patio you'll never want to leave.
Best of all is the warm, loving vibe that the house wraps you in the minute you open the door.
Hiking trails abound just out the back door and when you come back home, a hot tub will be waiting for you. Shops and restaurants are a very short drive to South Lake Tahoe and Zephyr cove.
