This was our second time visiting. We love the property and the house was very clean and well stocked. The fence surrounding the yard is sturdy and we wanted to make sure our little kids (2&3) were safe, so that was a huge draw for us to the property. It was so easy to communicate with Sharon about anything. There is a brewery right down the street we’d walk to some nights. We picked up some food at Philly’s, ate at Get Hooked and Inn on the Gulf, and had way too much ice cream at the Hudson Ice Cream Shop! We traveled a little north to go to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park to see the mermaid show and south to go to Honeymoon Island State Park. We also went to the Hudson Beach near the Inn. My husband fished as much as he could and we had enough for two fish dinners! Of course, we enjoyed paddling out to a little sandbar right outside the canals and playing there - great and shallow spot for our kids at low tide! We loved it and can’t wait to return!

It's hard to find places that will allow a large breed dog so we were so grateful to have found this listing! Our family of 4, plus our Great Dane, thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sharon & John's place! We had plenty of space for the 4 of us, the place was clean, well stocked, and as described. The true gem of the property is the backyard/dock! It's right on the channel (w/ direct access to the Gulf), completely fenced in and set up for socializing. We absolutely loved the availability of the kayaks and canoe...used them daily! Husband did some successful fishing and crabbing off the dock. Hudson, the location of the house, is outside of the big tourist areas (which we wanted!)... but still very conveniently located. We day-tripped to Clearwater beach, Weeki Watchee area, and enjoyed outlet shopping in Lutz on a stormy day...all within an hour or so. Beaches are more limited in this area, but again, we were plenty happy day tripping for beaches or just enjoying the channel/nearby sand bar. If you are looking for a good sit down meal - try Whiskey Joe's or Sam's on the Beach! Both were very good and had relaxing outdoor seating. Sharon was incredibly accommodating and informative. She went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed and even thought ahead about our kids and dog. I cannot say enough good things really.... THANK YOU again Sharon & John. We have already recommended your place to other family who regularly come in and out of the area!

My husband & I along with our 3 pups spent a week here & it was amazing. Perfect size house for us with an amazing yard right on the water & we were grilling every night. We also went canoeing EVERY day... it was absolutely wonderful & i can't say enough about the incredible sunset view. It was a MUCH needed relaxing & peaceful getaway!! We were sad to leave but already planning our next trip back! Thank you John & Sharon We WILL be back!!

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay! Went Kayaking nearly every morning and evening to watch the sunrise and sunset and can’t describe how stunning it was! Loved hanging out on the dock fishing and letting the dogs swim whenever we weren’t out. House was incredibly clean and well maintained as well! 100/10 would recommend! Hope to make this a yearly trip so will definitely be staying again!

We had an amazing time staying in Signal Cove! The house was adorable! It had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was really nice to have since we brought our children. Having the dock, fishing poles, and kayaks was such a bonus! We fished, explored the mangroves we even had dolphins swimming along with us as we canoed! There is a nice sandbar at the end of the channel where the kids swam and we were able to explore! There are beaches and beach bars nearby also which we really enjoyed! The communication was awesome and we felt like we could contact Sharon and John whenever we needed! They were attentive and very welcoming! We hope to visit again! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying at Sharon and John’s waterfront home! They have absolutely thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible! The home is spotless and in such a great location. We loved having use of the kayaks and going out to the sandbar nearby and to the Gulf to kayak with the dolphins. We were able to fish from the dock and feed the fish which was a lot of fun! We can’t thank Sharon and John enough for sharing their wonderful home with us! We will surely be back!

This property is exactly as advertised! What the description cannot tell you is how much of a homely feel it has. It truly did feel like home away from home. The area is very peaceful and it was easy to spend down time simply sitting in the garden and watching the water. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We would be very happy to stay in their home again and in fact are already hoping to plan another trip. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our family stayed the week of Christmas 2019. Sharon and John even set up a small tree for us! We truly appreciated how very clean the home was! There were many extras such as air mattresses, extra pillows, plenty of bathroom towels, as well as many supplies such as paper towels, detergent, soap, etc. The home was spacious with a beautiful large kitchen table for us to play games and eat dinner at. I can see how many visitors love the fenced in area if they brought their dogs or had small children. We tried a little fishing without much luck and didn't see much in the canal while there but mostly we loved being together, being in the sun, going to the beaches, as well as our daily visits to Hudson Beach ice cream shop. The neighborhood is very quiet, beds are comfortable so we slept great and were able to relax!

From the moment i booked to even after the moment i left, the owners were in constant communication. Called us on the way to ensure our gps navigated us to the exact spot, called us when they noticed we were not docked when a huge storm ripped through the area and then messaged us to make sure we arrived home safely. The house was nicely decorated. the beds were very comfy. plenty of space to unpack and store everything. Kitchen was well stocked (only thing i wish it had, a dishwasher- but no biggy). the house was clean, hvac worked amazing- for the house stayed cool. Owner provided everything from bath soap, laudry detergent, clorox wipes, dish soap etc. Literally just bring food. I loved the fact that i could bring my fur baby. Quiet neighborhood. Walmart, Dollar General, dollar tree, home depot super close. now the gem part: the backyard is spectacular. Beautifully landscaped, fenced in , fish cleaning area with running water, steps to lauch Kayak or canoe (which owner provides) dock well maintained, furniture is very nice and relaxing. very quick ride to the channel. Owner allows you to lauch boat from the private community boat ramp. Warning: if you have never been to hudson " skinny boat is key" we did okay in a 24ft nautic star , the channel is not wide and only deep in a few places. came back one night at low tide (very scary) not sure i want to know what the winter tides would draw out. these flats increased 1ft per mile. Enjoyed Antioch Keys (beauitiful sandbar like beach area) , stilt homes were an amazing sight. We tried many restaurants for what its worth, I was not a fan of Franks or whiskey river. i thought both had bad service and over priced for bad food. I was blown away by the steak tacos from Captain Jacks and the redneck nachos from Sharkbites. both resturants you could pull boat up to, great food & service (sharkbites is dog friendly) Highly recommend staying at Signal Cove , it was a vacation that we will never forget...

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect. Very well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Comfortable beds and an amazing porch/dock area. The kayaks and the canoe are a great addition to the property. Owners are very nice, helpful, and attentive and really want you to have an enjoyable stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

The home was very comfortable, but, the back yard was where we spent most of our time. It was fenced in and had large grassy area for our 2 dogs and a very comfortable concrete area with tables, umbrellas and chairs to lounge away. We would stay again if we get back down that way.

Had a wonderful 1 week stay...homeowners were very accommodating an easy to work with. The home was clean, well stocked and maintained! We would love to go back someday with hopes of picking a better week of weather so we could have enjoyed some kayaking along with the properties great inter coastal backyard!

For the second year in a row, February brought record-breaking warm temperatures to the Gulf Coast of Hudson, FL. What better way to spend our days than to relax in the sun on the beautiful canal front, listening to the birds and enjoying the marine life - including a dolphin! The home is spacious, with a large great room that spans the width of the structure. The dining room table is also spacious enough to sit 8 - 10 people comfortably. I especially appreciated the large closets and the master bathroom, which had double sinks and a great glass-doored shower! If you like to cook on your vacation (especially the fresh seafood from Whitney's Seafood Market), the kitchen was somewhat disappointing, due to the lack of updated pots and pans, dishes, and silverware. The stainless appliances were very nice, however, but the kitchen lacks a dishwasher. This would probably not bother too many guests and isn't a complaint, just an observation. Another plus is the washer and dryer on site. The beds were very soft and very different from our firm one at home, needed for our bad backs. I am sure most people would find them comfortable, however. Overall, our experience here was wonderful. There were days when the air conditioner was used, and days we turned on the heat. No problems with either system. The tv had good reception and many channels to choose from. The wi-if was fast and reliable, too. Although we did not use the dock or bring our boat, it is there to fish from or dock your vessel - another plus! John and Sharon kept in touch with us regularly and returned our calls immediately. They aim to please! After a month in the sun, we reluctantly headed north to cold termps and a long winter. Check out this Hudson rental and enjoy your vacation in the sun!

The house is great for family that loves the water. It is on a canal that leads to the Gulf a few minutes away. I kept our large Hobie sailing Kayak at the dock the entire trip- very convenient. We went out almost every day. The fenced yard was perfect for our two senior greyhounds. The home slept six comfortably. We were about an hour north of Tampa. Good local restaurants and seafood stores. We took the dolphin tour from Tarpon Springs- highly recommended. Pasco County is a developing area- you definitely are not in downtown Tampa. But If you like local old Florida flavor, great fishing and boating, beautiful sunsets and very attentive hosts, you should really enjoy this property, as my family and fur-children did!

We really enjoyed our stay at Signal Cove. Sharon and John were very responsive and easy to reach during our stay. John checked in several times to see if there was anything we needed. Our dog Shadow enjoyed fishing every day off the steps leading down to the canal.

My family stayed here for a week. The neighborhood was very quiet. Accommodations were clean and comfy. Backyard is beautiful, no luck fishing though. Owners checked on us by telephone to make sure we had everything we needed and to inquire about our stay. John and Sharon were both very friendly. House is fully equipped with all the essentials. Strongly recommend for an enjoyable vacation.

The place was bigger than it looked in pictures the backyard was one of the nicest we have seen in area. We actually saw two dolphins swim by and fish were jumping the whole time. We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying in Sharon and John's home. The house is clean, nicely decorated, very well equipped both inside and out, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside sitting area next to the water. It was great for relaxing, soaking up the sun, and watching the many birds in the area. The floating dock was nice for throwing in a line, although the fishing was not very successful! The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We loved being able to use the 2 kayaks to explore the canals, park area, and nearby Gulf. We were so fortunate and blessed to have a few manatees swim next to our kayaks! It was a wonderful experience to have them so close. There are many great eating spots within a short drive, either north or to the south. We liked Sam's, Catches, The Breakfast Station, and Rusty Bellies Waterfront Grill down in Tarpon Springs. We found the owners to be so accommodating, concerned about our needs, and easy to communicate with. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone looking for a waterfront place in the Hudson area. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area.
