Overall the place has a lot of potential. Location is not bad for Crested Butte and is easy to access trails, downtown, and mountain. Cleanliness was not great, multiple crumbs and dirt were located all over the property, one of slept on top of the couch due to finding food in one of the pullouts and a used old bandaid in the other. The twin bed room had massive stains on each of the bed spreads which was very disquieting. The toilet seat on the upstairs bathroom was cracked, and don't even think about making coffee as it just does not work. The lazy susan door was busted and falling off the hinges, and the fridge sounds like it's about to break any moment. The place has a lot of potential and could very good all they have to do is spend a bit of money and fix the issues. We were overly disappointed with the amount of money we spent for 3 nights and the overall presentation of the place. Hot tub was nice a bit dirty and heavy chemically cleaned. We will definitely be visiting the lovely town of crested Butte but will be looking at alternatives when it comes to places to stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Great location!

Terrific location on the quiet end of Elk, as advertised! I love a quiet place for vacation. We walked to the shopping end of Elk every day and sometimes multiple times a day and it's an easy walk, even in flip flops. We used the hot tub every single day after long hikes. My favorite extra were the bikes in the garage. I loved riding the rec path and around town looking at the beautiful homes and gardens. The beds were very comfortable and our adult boys who slept in the twin beds said they were also very comfortable. We would stay here again.

We loved the house, excellent location and perfect set up for our family and dog.

This place was perfect for what we needed. I gave fewer stars for as accuracy of listing and comms with property manager. According to the pictures, I thought we'd have more of a grass fenced in yard for our dog. They are pretty strict on the check-in time. I had asked the property manager if we could check-in a bit early and they said to email them when I was approaching. I reached out the day of but never heard back. The place was very well kept-up and the bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable, typically a rarity for a rental. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The duplex was nice and worked very well. Nice quiet location and quick/easy walk to the busier part of town.

This place really was exactly what we needed and wanted for a long ski weekend - the location and hot tub were the prime benefits. Management was communicative and kind.

First time for us in Crested Butte, and this was an ideal location. Easily walkable to downtown, which is the cutest. Also right next to a great walking path that can take you on a great 5 mile walk.
It was a bit hard to find the place in the dark. It is actually the back of the house- wish that was made a bit more clear.

This property was clean, spacious, and conveniently located! We had everything we needed. Arrival and departure instructions were simple and easy to follow. We would love to stay here again on a future visit to Crested Butte!

Visiting with my two small kids (baby and toddler) and the grandparents with us. Great location right next to the playground, which was perfect for the kids.
The rental is not stocked to make family travel easier (no pack and play, high chair, stroller, etc), but we knew that prior and brought our own items.
The weather was fairly hot. The unit has no AC, which is standard in crested butte so we weren’t surprised. However, the bedrooms are on the ground floor. And the advice is to close and lock the windows at night to prevent bears from entering. It got very hot at night while sleeping! It would be very helpful to just have some simple box fans available to circulate air since opening the windows at night is advised against.
Otherwise, no complaints!

A Fun Place Intown!
We have now stayed in the property twice. We love the setting and the convenience to town and every thing.
The toaster does not work. The latch has to be held down contiuously to toast. The toilets make a strange noise when flushed. The master bath shower handle needs checking. It slips from hot to warm on its own.

Great Space!
We are a family of three. Shays place was perfect for us. Perhaps we could’ve had one more person in our group and would have been great as well. It is a short drive or a 15 min walk to old historical crested butte. And the bus stop was only 2 blocks away. The kitchen is spacious and the living room homey. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hope to stay here again next year!!

Great for the most part!
Property was dog friendly when I rented it and was not when I showed up…luckily I decided not to bring my dog. I saw why…someone’s dog ate through the bathroom door almost. Honestly who locks their dog in the bathroom?? One of the rooms had a pee smell also… some peoples bad dogs ruin it for everyone. Location was great. The communication was ok… I messaged about the parking as the streets are very confusing and never heard back. They say the garage is small but we fit a Jeep Cherokee in there so it all worked out. Overall it was good and would stay there again. Not a bad walk to town or the ski shuttle

A great place to spend a week skiing and vacationing. The owners did a great job with this place. There was quite a bit of snow which was handled promptly by the service crew. Short walk to town or to ski shuttle. Great hot tub, grilling deck, parking, ski storage, etc. would stay here again. The wifi is super fast as well.

Don't be mistaken by "duplex" this is not a traditional side by side, rather front to back with the parking and entry door on a gravel alley behind Elk Ave. Not told of this until checkin email received. Partial mountain view. That is lost when told to keep shades down to keep place cool inside as it was very warm out. Nice yard but not secure for small dogs. House was small, bathrooms extremley small with shower windows facing upstairs neighbors which made it very uncomfortable. Sufficient kitchen [toaster was hard to use, not broken but new one needed], although cookware was very old and left dirty in cabinet and a used, nasty kitchen sponge left behind instead of packaged new one. Nice that there was cabinet space to store our things in the kitchen and in bedroom drawers. Too many faux furs throughout that wasn't needed and felt unclean. Chlorine in hot tub was overbearing. This home is not the quality we expected by the description and moreso the price paid.
