This room was perfect for a friend and I taking our first trip away from our littles and binge reading a good book. Food and restaurant access was super easy and quick. So glad we went this route instead of a plain hotel. This little charming room made for the coziest stay!

This property was super cute. Easy to check in & out. We did have a little bit of trouble finding where to park but we got there when it was dark but when it was light out, it was super easy to navigate.

The Rose Room was beautiful, clean, and cozy! We booked this stay for our anniversary trip and would 10/10 recommend.

The room is just as described/shown. Super cute and the little fireplace makes it feel cozy. Close proximity to Biltmore (maybe 15 minutes), and good restaurants very close by as well. If you stay, try Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian just 7 minutes from Blake House. It’s so good!! Overall we really enjoyed the stay!

Beautiful room- plenty of space and very central!

My husband and I like to get away after Christmas for a few days. We chose Asheville to see Biltmore House. We had a super fantastic experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blake House.

The room was just as listed! It was very old-timey and charming. In a good neighborhood as well. Really good water pressure. Couldn’t figure out how to work the coffee pot but other than that I’d 100% stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The room was beautiful and exactly as described. The location was great and the hosts were so kind. Would definitely stay here in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed in the Rose Room for a weekend but this time took advantage of the bogo tickets to Biltmore that came with the stay! Such a nice offer and experience!! The Rose Room is absolutely lovely with a vintage moody vibe! We love it and highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a weekend getaway to the Biltmore!

We were only there for two nights but we fell in love with the place and greatly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Brian and Stephanie were fantastic hosts, very responsive and even helped us find gluten free restaurants! We will be back!

This room was quiet, secluded, and definitely a repeat for us if/when we are in the area again. The owners were communicative, the room was exactly (and better) than we expected, and amazingly quiet for the location.

My husband and I loved the charm and decor, as well as the close proximity to all of our must-see places. I’d highly recommend to anyone.

Very nice space. I have a few suggestions for the manager, however: There should be a coffee packet for every day. We stayed three, but got coffee for only two; there should be instructions for how to lock the room lock; the features should be listed and explained, eg. the bed was too hard, but we did not know that it was an adjustable bed until checking out. Just need some words.

The rose room was a perfect get away in the mountains! We really enjoyed our stay. Every night and every morning we turned on the fireplace and enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee. The bed is a sleep number so that was an extra plus! Absolutely loved the environment of the property and have already told our friends about it. Hopefully we will stop again when we’re passing through Asheville.

My SIL and I came up to Asheville for a girls' weekend since she'd never been to the Biltmore. Highlights were the Biltmore (of course), dinner at Curate, and this lovely little hideaway. We loved it! The linens, the wall color, the deep tub, the stone patio, and the gas fireplace were wonderful. The bed was quite firm the first night, but once we figured out it was a Sleep Number bed we fixed that. Either way, with no children, pets, or husbands to wake us up we slept like a dream. We would absolutely stay again.

The Rose Room is utterly charming! So cozy and comfortable. Very close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our hosts were lovely as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and we’d definitely stay there again. 5 stars all the way!

I stayed in the lovely Rose Room with my toddler and mother-in-law who is in her 70s. The room is so pretty. I appreciate antiques and well-designed spaces. The owners have done a nice job making it cozy and curated without clutter.
The bathroom is spacious. I was able to set up my daughter’s pack-n-play, even with the extender, by the tub without blocking the door, toilet or sink which allowed us to close her off from the room and lights while she slept. That was so helpful! The bed is Sleep Number and quite comfortable. I wished I’d brought my own pillows since theirs are feather and one on my side was flat. There is a bit of noise and too many lights in room (tv etc.) I covered them.
The toaster, refrigerator and drip coffee maker were all useful to us. I liked having real dishes to eat and drink from.
The owners and property managers were wonderful to deal with. We appreciated the attentiveness and felt safe here and that was important to me since my husband wasn’t traveling with us. I wanted to be close to others but not in a hotel setting and this was just right.
One of our favorite features was the location. We walked down the hill to Jake Rusher Park (the castle park) every day. My toddler loved that because she met friends and played on things built for her size. We also enjoyed a meal at Rocky’s Hot Chicken which is also a short walk.
We had a fun, memorable time visiting the area for the fall colors which were absolutely beautiful around 10/20.

the bathroom tub was very slippery. I had to hold onto the rails on the wall. The TV was not working and the bed was very hard.

We stayed two nights with a wonderful walking tour of Asheville and several glorious meals. The vrbo was very clean & comfortable and met all of our needs.

Beautiful room and property. A few corrections would make this property great. Whirlpool tub was not working. Fireplace - I don’t believe was working. Attempted to follow directions. No place to store clothes. If you’re planning a multi-day stay that may present some difficulty. We stayed 4 days and it created a minor challenge. Owners or managers were extremely responsive so had I contacted them about the tub and fireplace those issues may have been resolved. Enjoy the sleep number bed and the spacious room.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Rose room on our way to Savannah. We absolutely loved it! The room is warm and inviting, so much so that we both felt comfortable right away. The antiques in the room are beautiful. And the sleep number bed is perfect for a rental property. Our hosts were extremely friendly and recommended a couple of attractions. We really enjoyed the Sierra Nevada Brewery, and the Park Inn Hotel was well worth a stop. Thanks for a great stay!!

We came here for our anniversary, and we loved our stay at this quaint historic property. It is part of the main house, but it has a separate entrance, and we felt it was still quite private. Would recommend!
