Peut accueillir six personnes confortablement. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec appareils Viking. Véranda avec de nombreux sièges et une cheminée à bois en pierre. Built-in extérieure station de cuisson à gaz. Foyer au bois en pierre dans le salon. (Les deux foyers équipés de démarreurs de gaz.) La suite principale est à l'étage principal avec un lit King size, un porche privé projeté, walk-in et salle de bain principale avec douche séparée et bain à remous. Un coin lecture confortable est situé au deuxième étage. La deuxième suite de maître étage a un lit queen et d'articles de toilette identiques que premier étage. La troisième chambre à l'étage / den est équipé d'un confortable canapé-lit et salle de bains privative. Téléviseurs sont dans chaque chambre avec satellite Direct TV. Service Internet Wi-Fi est disponible. La cour arrière est sereinement aménagé avec un sentier pédestre et un coin salon. Voir grande buanderie et cellier au premier étage. Système de sécurité en place. Disponible pour les locations de courte ou long terme. Cadre idéal pour aways obtenir les adultes.

We have been coming Highlands since 1986. Of all of the homes the owners have allowed us to rent, always for a week and many times two weeks, this was absolutely the most warm and welcoming. The house is very well appointed and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The owner was a delight to work with. We plan to return soon.

Perfect weather, nicely furnished home. Unfortunately, had to cut trip 10 days short due to a medical emergency.

This was our second year spending a weekend at this house with another couple. Last year, the AC on the main floor went out (there was a short) and it was fixed partially the next day (Sunday). This year, there was no AC on the second floor at all. Although the owner was aware of this, we had not been informed. He did his best to get it fixed fast, but it wasn't until Monday that the repairman could come. So one couple spent 2 nights without AC. I expected the owner to make some type of compensation by way of a partial refund, but that did not happen either year.
The dishwasher is also a problem: when we finally got it to turn on, (red light showing on bottom), it quit before cleaning the dishes.
We will look for a more comfortable place, with better parking facilities, next time. (Parking as as described, which we knew in advance to be inconvenient especially because the drive is on a steep hill).

The house was just as pictured, if not better in person. It’s about 1/2 a mile from downtown Highlands. It’s a gated community that is safe and quiet. It was incredibly clean, with comfortable beds, great shower and baths. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and spices. Viking appliances. We did not get to use the outside porch because of the cold, but it was cozy and tidy and adorable. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace, which we used at morning and night.
Communication with Duane was a cinch. He sent an email a few days prior with all of the info needed for check in. There is nothing but great things to say about this house and stay. I highly recommend and would stay again.

The house was one of the better properties I have stayed in the Highlands. Kitchen was well equipped and has everything you will need. The house is in a great location only a mile out of town. Would recommend this property to anyone.

We had the most wonderful visit to Highlands. We typically go several weeks a year and this was our first at this house. It was wonderful!! Perfect location, beautifully appointed and very comforatable. Can’t wait to go back!!

Beautiful home!
Spent a long weekend with my family in this lovely home. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped. There are two master suites with king beds and large private bathrooms. The third “bedroom” has a pull out sofa (as noted in description) and a nice private bath. The only negative is that the driveway can only accommodate 2 cars and is on a steep hill. There is flat covered parking at the top for one car, but any car parking on the slope will need a good parking brake. The roads are not wide, so parking at the bottom of the driveway or on the street is not an option. The owner was wonderful to work with and promptly answered all my questions. A detailed list of information and contacts was provided and a welcome basket loaded with wine, coffee, and snacks greeted us upon arrival! This rental surpassed our expectations and we look forward to renting again in the future!

High end mountain house in quiet location
Everything was presented beautifully and all kitchen needs were anticipated. The house is furnished for very tall people, so reaching things in top cabinets was a challenge. Everything was immaculate and lovely, including the views from the bedrooms of the rhododendrons in back. The AC quit the night before last and the owner was very responsive and had a tech out the same day (Sunday!). However, it really wasn't fixed because he lacked the correct part. Luckily it was cool out during our stay.

This property did not disappoint. Izzy the snow storm blew in and we had everything we needed for a cozy snowed in experience, plus our host checked on us and kept us informed. It is a lovely property and we look forward to staying here in all seasons!

There is no detail skipped in this home. As someone who loves to bake and cook, everything I needed was there. Extremely well taken care of and makes you truly feel at home. A private neighborhood allows for walks and enjoying the beauty of the area. Highlands is a quick car ride away. The property manager is extremely responsive. A little hidden gem. I will return.

It's not always that your expectations are met, but they were exceeded in Mirror Lake. The location was excellent and beautiful. The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Duane...the owner answered any emailed questions immediately which gave us a comfortable level adding to the positive experience. I recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a wonderful setting.
