Recommendable Hotel

Quite, very nice charming chalets all facing a small lake full of friendly ducks set in the middle of the jungle. If you don’t mind being far off it’s a perfect location. Pretty good BF for Sri Lankan standards.

Reception staff could be a bit more friendly and professional.

A beautiful stay and we would return.

Excellent location with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Meals were well priced and tasty. Chalet was luxurious and we would definitely come again.

We didn’t mind this, even in a Tuk Tuk, but it’s a bit of a trek down the windy and bumpy lane which some patrons may find challenging.

Very unpleasant stay.

Staff was very good. Specially Mr. Su at the restaurant. Thank you for wonderful service!

One word - REMOTE LOCATION. It’s a literally a farm hotel with ducks, chickens and so on walking around. Wild life all around too, this includes incredible number of flies, big black ants inside the room. TV has no sound. Shower was terribly “rustic” toilet seat was full of ants too.

Pequeño complejo hotelero con encanto ubicado cerca de puntos de interés en Dambulla. Disponen de restaurante propio con buena oferta de platos y adaptabilidad ya que somos veganos y no tuvimos problemas para ello.

Esperábamos más. La zona se veía descuidada con una piscina que no invitaba al baño. El personal se mostró poco disponible y desinteresado ya que tuvimos un problema con la iluminación de la habitación y tuvimos que comentarlo en varias ocasiones hasta que consideraron valorar el problema y solventarlo.

The Sarah were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. It's a bit remote but the staff always arranged a tuk tuk for us if we needed😊

never again, everything went bad

nice location

we took 75 min waiting to check in, then they offered us free dinner to apologize which was nice, then unfortunately we could not sleep till 3am due to Loud music from a local party by the pool. receptionist has no clue what English is. altough staff are very nice and tried to be helpful, still our stay was ruined

that is a great place. the staff is amazing! so friendly and helpful and so attentive! we have been traveling for a month and we haven’t met such hospitable people, you feel like home with friends. we appreciate this so much! we wanted to stay here for some more time but we had to go. the rooms are nice, well designed, comfy bed, air conditioner, iron. the area is big and clean, nice pool. cute squirrels. we got late check out. and thank you for a fruit plate, towel swans and flowers on the bed. that was so sweet i strongly recommend this hotel to everyone!!

Disappointing

The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

The room wasn’t upgraded as the description stated. The back of the cabin is connected to others even though it said private entrance and there was a staircase that I could hear people talking on all day and night, keeping me awake as it echoes through into the room (think this was staff) the bathroom really wasn’t very clean, the shower was full of dead bugs and other people’s hair. Also there was no bathrobe like in the description. Overall I wouldn’t recommend for the price.
