Half a block from the nearest restaurant, you are in town at this location. All the amenities you would want for a place to stay. My daughter described one couch as the most comfortable she’s ever sat in. A full kitchen to prepare any food you want although we are out.

We loved our week at Susan’s place! It was quite spacious and a great home base to explore both the park and Bar Harbor! We especially loved the quick access to the Shore Path. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Acadia.

This apartment was so lovely and well equipped for our long weekend away. The games helped us pass the time during the rainy weather and the location is walkable to everything in downtown Bar Harbor. We would love to stay again - so grateful for our time there! She even had some very cute children’s books that our daughter loved at bedtime.

Susan’s property is very welcoming, clean, well-stocked, and the perfect location to downtown Bar Harbor. We could walk just about anywhere we needed to in town: grocery store, restaurants, shopping, shore path, etc., which was great since traffic downtown could be challenging. Acadia National Park was just a short drive away. The kitchen is stocked with great cookware and we felt at home in the space. We’re we’re all adults, but a family with children would be just as comfortable here too! There is no cleaning fee charged if you leave the place as you found it, which is a simple request and easy to follow through on.

Susan’s house is spacious, clean, and located on a quiet street within steps of Main Street. It is an easy walk to stores, restaurants, the pier and other places in Bar Harbor Village. An entrance to Acadia National Park is about a 10-minute drive or less. Susan is kind and attentive, and we enjoyed our stay at her house.

This adorable little home was just a few steps from all the restaurants and shops and only a 10 minute drive into the park. It was wonderful to be immersed in great natural beauty during the day and to experience comfort and convenience at night.

This property includes the first floor of a partially renovated house. The owner or manager lives on the second floor and is a nice combo of helpful and non-intrusive.
The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry rooms are nicely updated with just about everything we needed. Though we were afraid to put anything on the butcher block counters because they are so beautiful but seem like a stray glass ring might ruin them. The beds were comfortable and we slept hard each night.
The best part is that the house is just a block off the main road through downtown Bar Harbor and the cute little town is easily walkable for boat tours, restaurants, and shopping. We avoided the headaches and costs of parking with our parking spot at the house.
The house is also nestled between two entrances to the Acadia National Park. We took 3 days going through the park with highlights of Cadillac Mountain, swimming for the cold water lovers at Sand Beach, and exploring the many gorgeous hikes. We did a fishing excursion in Frenchman Bay and a sailing trip out of Bass Harbor. We all had a fabulous time from the comfort of this cozy home. That is no small feat for a family of four with a teen and a tween.
We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this property is very central to downtown Bar Harbor. Walking to nearby restaurants and ocean trail is very convenient. The host provided a binder of activity and restaurant suggestions. Having a comfortable kitchen was great because a lot of restaurants are closed in the winter. The kitchen island was really useful place to eat and hang out with our baby. The apartment is the first floor of an old house and the upstairs inhabitant can be heard walking around, etc. When we booked the reservation, I did not notice the listing stated that “a light cleaning is required.” Two weeks before our stay, and long after the cancellation window had closed, I received a very long email of cleaning instructions- clean the toilet, sink, shower, counters, etc. The apartment did appear clean when we arrived. Word of advice- if you book this place, take pictures when you leave. I received many messages from the owner accusing me of a “cooking accident” and throwing away a skillet- neither of which occurred.

The house is located on a quiet side street just a couple of blocks from the center of Bar Harbor and a short driving distance to Acadia National Park. I’ve stayed there several times and it has always been spotless, comfortable, secure and very well outfitted for a multi-day stay. The proprietor has always been very quick to respond to any questions I’ve had.

This little house was the perfect cozy spot for my mom and I to enjoy the beautiful happenings of Bar Harbor and Acadia! We enjoyed the cuisine and the wonderful fall colors and came back to the cozy little house which was well maintained and eclectic but adorable. Upstairs neighbors could be heard but that’s typical for staying underneath anyone in an older home.

Susan was terrific and made things very easy. My wife and I stayed here for our 40th wedding anniversary. Check in was easy and the location is wonderful - literally one block off main street and the Village Green. We are big hikers and so we made our breakfasts in the well-stocked kitchen and then hit the trails for the day. Susan had everything in very good order and really did not have any problems whatsoever. We will be coming back in the future! .

This was a wonderful property for our first trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The house is less than a block from Main Street but still felt quiet and private. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The kitchen was first-class. After a day of hiking, it was great to park our car by the house and wander around town. Loved everything about it!
