The Antebellum house was a great place to stay. It is an easy walk to downtown and there is plenty of on street parking. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to stay again next year.

Wonderful old house with all modern (very nice) fixtures, heat, etc. Location a short walk to downtown, rivewalk is ideal.

Location is phenomenal- close enough to downtown to walk, but far enough away to be out of the fray. Lots of thoughtful amenities, everything was labeled well, and our interaction with Craig (the host) was filled with southern hospitality. If we find ourselves visiting Wilmington again in the future, we would definitely be a repeat guest.

Could not suggest this place more. Not only great location to downtown and close to the beach, but the host Craig was fantastic. Very easy communication and Craig was very accommodating when my husband and I had a family emergency come up. The place had everything you could need and was very beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

The location worked very well for walking to all the restaurants, musuem and shopping. We never had to get into our car. The yard was great for our small dog. The host is one of the best we have ever experienced. Everything one needed to know was provided in advance of the stay. We slept well and were quiet comfortable. It was a wonderful visit.

Had a perfect getaway Thanksgiving weekend for 2 + pet dog. An absolutely lovely home, beautifully decorated, with super proximity to food, shopping, and the riverwalk. The hosts have done a wonderful job of "upgrading" this antebellum home to support modern day conveniences. Streaming, wifi, and outlets were readily available. The home was so cozy/comfortable for us..... extremely clean, everything worked, and the host was very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful historic home within walking distance to the river walk. Enclosed yard was perfect for our little dog. Clean with many amenities. Nice bedding and the reverse osmosis drinking water was appreciated. So excited to use the traeger wood pellet grill for the first time.

This house was a dream. Perfect location, clean, welcoming and the owner could not have been more accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone and would absolutely stay here again.

You couldn't ask for a better location. Easy walk to historic downtown shopping and restaurants. The only downside is that it sits on a busy street which can be a little problematic at night but easily remedied with the sound machine they have. I didn't find it to be a big deal. The owners have gone out of their way to not only provide everything one could need (even bath salts!) but it was also decorated for Fall. It was exceptionally clean. The neighborhood is safe and quite nice for walking around in. It's very private - to get into the backyard requires a code as does the entrance door which is dead-bolted. Loved it and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Craig's place for 4 nights, and enjoyed our time immensely! The property is amazing, spacious and well-maintained! We felt like royalty living in this place. The kitchen is well-equipped, we cooked a few meals in there too. We loved the backyard, and our dog did too. Location is phenomenal, walking distance to great restaurants. The neighborhood is fantastic too, we took many strolls and loved the historic houses. Felt very safe too.

We had a great time in Wilmington! The house was very cute and just what we needed. We loved that the back patio was gated in to let our kids play outside without worry. Nice location & close enough to walk to everything downtown. My kids slept on the couch bed and it was great for them, but I definitely wouldn’t put an adult or older kid on it as it wasn’t the comfiest. Our only other complaint is just the bedroom part sits against a heavy traffic road so especially the weekend was very loud through most of the night. So if you’re a sensitive sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs! Overall it was a perfect stay! I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend, and it was absolutely perfect for the two of us! Craig has done a wonderful job maintaining and displaying the historic aspects of this charming home. Craig was very communicative with us and was so kind to offer flexibility during check in and with the approaching hurricane. We walked to downtown Wilmington and drove the short drive to Carolina beach during our stay! Love the fenced in yard area shaded with trees to lounge outside on a hot day! Would definitely recommend this for a single family and would stay here again anytime. Thank you Craig!

Host Craig was very prompt and communicative--and so thoughtful: had a bottle of wine for us for our anniversary from their favorite winery. Location was absolutely perfect--walking distance to everything downtown, historic museums, landmark buildings. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Of all the properties we've rented over the years, we've never felt so "cared for" as we did in this well-appointed home. From the coffee and spices in the fully-stocked kitchen to the extra toothbrushes and faux candle in the bathroom, we felt like special guests here. The antique decorations added to the Victorian charm. We enjoyed morning coffee on the private back patio and dinner al fresco at the bistro table. Comfortable furniture and cozy bed made relaxing a breeze. Awesome central location -- only a few blocks from River Walk. The historic neighborhood was beautiful for taking walks. Just a short drive to the beach and shopping/restaurants. We hope to stay here again.

Enjoyed our short stay. The house had everything we needed and more. Cozy, historic home in a great location. AC was strong enough to handle hot days and was also relatively quiet. Street noise at night from vehicles were occasionally loud but not enough to ruin our sleep. House was clean and hosts were friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay in historic downtown Wilmington. Walk to everything you want to do in town. 15 min drive to the beach. Space was very private w tons of room inside and great outdoor area. Kitchen is loaded with everything necessary to prepare great meals or a quick snack for the road. Love the historic feel with high ceilings- yet very comfortable and inviting. We would most definitely stay here again.

The area is centrally located in Wilmington and the property is amazing. Everything has been thought of and the unit is fully stocked. The courtyard was beautiful and inviting and perfect for our dog to be let out for evening “walks”. The unit is historically charming from the roof line details to pocket doors. Beautiful, would definitely stay again.

This was our second time booking this property. It is serene space that's just a short walk to downtown and numerous restaurants or a quick drive to the beach. We'll be back!

The house is located on the corner of a side street and one of the roads that will lead you to downtown. Its a short walk to plenty of shops, restaurants and/or church. The kitchen had all the appliances, plates, etc. we needed. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is also an area you can sit outside and relax under the shade of several trees. It is in a good location to drive to the beach, shopping center or other activities not in downtown. We made it to a distillery and a ciderworks not too far from the house.
