Perfect location with beautiful views, truly relaxing. Close proximity to shops and restaurants
The pictures of the unit Vs reality - the inside of the unit and items in the unit need an upgrade 1. Doors need to be checked - kitchen door rattles had to put plastic in between, main bedroom door is tough to open without tugging and pulling 2. The grater is rusted beyond measure, knives are blunt, most utensils need replacement, especially in the second drawer where it smells ‘damp’ - I ended up purchasing my own items for usage 3. The washing machine was dirty - old soap and sta soft stains, had to request the cleaner to wash before usage 4. Aesthetics wise - the shower head is rusted, the shower ceiling in the bathroom is stained 5. The couch pillows and throws were not clean, had an off, dusty smell 6. Bedroom linen, pillows and towels are worn

Location is perfect, right on the beach, what you see on the photos is actually what you get. They kept in touch to make sure that we were happy during our stay. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great! Will definitely visit again!

Neat, comfortable, great location, walking distance from beach restaurants and shops. Netflix available. Serviced unit. Secure parking. Theres a cute little (trailer style) coffee and smoothy shop close by.
There are no basics like salt & pepper. Also no Tupperware or beach towels.

Perfect location, on the sea front. Spacious apartment with two large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge and small kitchen. Also has a balcony (which unfortunately doesn’t get the sun). Owner/manager very responsive to text messages and very friendly/helpful.
The kitchen is very dated and could do with a deep clean. We opted to eat out because of this.
No generator so regular power cuts due to load shedding - we were unaware of this before arrival and it was very stressful to arrive in the absolute darkness, with no forewarning of this. Take a couple of torches with you!

We loved the pool and how clean it was, easy access to the beach.
Lounge set was not comfortable, there was no shower in the tub. Fridge needs a service.

I loved the whole apartment, kitchen is functional, comfortable beds, beach view form balcony, my son couldn't stop swimming on ur pools.

Suggestion would be to ensure rooms are fitted with an aircon as during Summer bedrooms are very hot and with monkeys being a problem cannot sleep with windows open

Portable Beach chairs in the unit could come in handy to use on the deck overlooking the beach for a sundowner

The apartment & the hosts they were reachable most of the time & were following up everyday on how was our stay going on & if there were any issues which needs to be addressed..

Beautiful place, great view of the complex pools and the Ocean. Fully equipped kitchen, good wifi, very good TV set. Walking distance to stores and several very good restauarnts The management checked twice that everything was ok which we appreciated and they are so very helpful. The daily cleaning lady extremely pleasant and did a great job. We highly recommend this unit.
Major problem - really nothing to say here at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay.

It was amazing to be so close to the sea and have the beautiful views.
We could walk to the restaurants and shops.
Emily was very friendly and kept the communication going before, during and after our stay.
Although one can see that the unit has been revamped, there are parts that need some touch up. We find "new" together with "old", as if the place has been patched up. For example, the bathroom is quite new, but the toilet seats need replacement. The bedroom cupboards need a coat of painting so does the security gate at the entrance. It was very windy and the front door rattles to the point of waking us up, we had to place a stool in front of it.
The garage door does not close completely.

Everything was beautiful. We enjoyed the view from our apartment and being so close to the beach was great for the kids. The shops are also very close by. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This is a lovely apartment with a spacious balcony overlooking the swimming pool and with a view to the ocean. It also has a private entry directly onto the beach. It is perfectly located in Ballito - just a short walk to Ballito Village which has some wonderful restaurants and shops. We had a fantastic few days here and would highly recommend it. Great communication with hosts.

Location is perfect, a few dozen metres from the beach albeit through two security gates. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a decent open plan living area with an enormous TV kitted out with DSTV and Netflix. All appliances needed. It was a bit of a random choice but thoroughly worth it and if we are ever back in Ballito this will be our first choice. The booking agents were responsive, helpful and communicative, and sorted out our queries very fast through WhatsApp. The inevitable loadshedding woes were lightened (literally) by the emergency lantern supplied and the candles we bought.
Very little to complain about, TBH. The corrosive sea air in KZN has had an inevitable effect on the doors, locks and so on - and even in the internal Venetian blinds were crusted with salt in some cases. But any perceived problems or issues turned out to be me not following the detailed instructions properly (e.g. enter through the back door not the front). A little pricey by local and even some international standards, but worth it.

Beautiful place perfectly situated. Right by lovely massive swimming pools and the beach. The owners were so very informative and helpful right from when or booking was made, just before arrival and again during or 12 night stay. Ballito also is one of the best coastal towns in our country. Have booked the same apartment again for early December. Loved it their, sad to leave.
