Worst beds ever

The staff was so so so nice. their customer service was exceptional..

Even though we were super happy with the staff,the beds made our trip miserable.i have never stay anywhere has bed as bad as this one.i had a backaches from the bed and couldn't sleep and it ruined all our trip.

Staff were amazing and the rooms were nice and clean.

My children and I enjoyed our stay. When we enter the stairs we are always greeted by this lovely and welcoming scent. It felt like home

We didn't like the noise of cars from outside.

Quick trip

Check in/ out staff friendly and helpful. Housekeeping lady was lovely and accommodating of late check out.

Bar and restaurant food and service not as good as it was on a previous visit.

Good to use as a base

Room and beds were comfortable and very well presented. Good to have parking available (although busy when I first arrived it emptied later in the afternoon.

The shower did take about 10 minutes to get the hot water through, then was fine, the hotel is well aware of this problem and hopefully it gets sorted. We were there on Sunday afternoon and night. You could hear the music from downstairs in the afternoon . Once the bar closed it was quiet. Some traffic noise but very low grade and not a problem.

was fit for purpose. if that was the first time I’d stayed I’d never be back. only the fact I’ve stayed in other rooms s

to be honest it was really clean. I’ve stayed several times and it always is . never stayed in room 1 however, bed was terrible, and the hallway door was a massive annoyance.

the noice . room 1 sucks . that outside door 🙈 they could not pay me to stay in that room.

good little hotel.. close to shops /restaurants. it’s on top of a pub.

the bed was comfortable and the restaurant downstairs serve delicious food.

the check in. we weren’t made to feel welcome when we arrived.

Took money from my Credit Card without my permission. Staff were rude. You will need noise cancelling headphones to counter the music in the pub downstairs.

Reception lady was very nice & price was fair.

No warm shower from 8pm Tuesday & i had a flight to catch at 12am Wednesday & there was still only ice cold water coming from the showers, at 10am Wed, when i left for the airport.

Don’t believe the hype. stay somewhere else.

Well I liked that it was in Footscray and I thought I’d give my old hometown a visit and stay in the refurbished Plough Hotel.

The “Accomodation Manager”, really has no place working in hospitality. He caused a lot of stress and I would never stay here again. I don’t recommend this accommodation. there is a lack of communication with staff, polite staff inside the hotel who tell you one thing and an overbearing “Accommodation Manager” just out to grab every dollar he can from travellers. As far as a room review goes- small room, no view, windows don’t open. shared iron in a laundry. the pub downstairs looks nice in some areas. A shame really as it is a historic old pub.

I didn’t like that I could hear everything underneath it, I thought it would be a bit sound proof, and the card machine didn’t take my debit card not everyone carry’s a credit card on them
