The house was clean, well equipped and generally comfortable. The location was perfect for the beach and exploring the Outer Banks, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool and the hot tub was perfect.

This house was just what we needed for our family vacation. The beach is the perfect distance for a walk, the pool is a nice size, the hot tub is wonderful. Every bedroom having its own bath was wonderful! This was our first trip with all the children and grandchildren and this house made it possible for everyone to find their own niche. Probably the best vacation in years! The place was clean, has great furnishings, and every amenity we needed. We would go back again, if we weren’t wanting to take the grandkids to new places. Highly recommend this location!!

Loved the house, the pool, the hot tub, the games on lower level, the pretty towels and clean showers, the location, and distance from beach.House was fairly clean except some sediment in bathroom drawers which we wiped out. Railings seemed sticky but I wiped down with Lysol.We would have loved a Keurig coffee machine.We plan to return next year. Thank you!

The home accommodations fit our needs well! We loved the location being two streets to the beach and the quietness around us too. There was plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing and especially loved the built in seats in the pool too. The house was clean and ready for occupancy before the scheduled window which was a plus. A few recommendations would be to replace a couple of mattresses and add additional towels. We only had one kitchen dish towel which is not adequate for a six bedroom home. We washed and rewashed it for use. Also, I would recommend a larger or second trash can for the kitchen too. Overall, great house for our families with plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

House was in a great location. The beds need updated very well slept in. Pool is on the small side but has seats made in it to relax which was nice. Walk to beach was not bad at all. The only down fall is the house needs a deep clean. The top refrigerator needs cleaned inside and out. The oven needs a deepclean as well asthe floors. Your feet will be black and dirty. Other than all that we had a wonderful time. Loved the location.

So much to do — pool, hot tub (thankfully because the weather was cold all week), pool table, foosball, games, quick walk to the beach. Kitty Hawk is fairly commercialized and not walkable compared to Duck to the north and Nags Head to the south but both are close by for day trips. Water park, Flight museum, aquarium, sand dunes and light houses great attractions (get tickets in advance for lighthouses and aquarium)

We had our whole family at the house and had a wonderful week. The property was so close to the beach, the pool and hot tub were both so great and convenient we all had the best time! The only concern was the cleaning company didn't do the best job they really need to clean the ceiling fans and check under the beds and clean the light fixtures. Also the bathrooms could have used a little more attention. But we did bring clorox wipes so some wiping down with them and we were good to go. The management company was great and responsive when needed. Good time had by all of us!

We had a wonderful stay at Dune Our Thing. It was a great space for 3 families. The pool was perfect for our group with many young kids, and the walk to the beach was super easy and safe! Other neighbors and renters in the area were friendly and there's lots to do nearby.
We stayed over July 4th weekend and got to see so many fireworks over the ocean while sitting right on our deck!
My only critique is that I wish there was a bathroom on the lower level, but certainly not a dealbreaker. Regardless, all 6 of the bathrooms were very nice.

Everyone loved the place. The cleaning crew could use improvement but when you take into consideration the size of the house and the turnover time from one renter to the next, you'd understand the reason. I'd rather deal with a little dust and get into the house at 4 pm then wait until 6pm. I loved the house. The beds were so comfortable. The pool...family room...closeness to the beach were great. The realtor reached out frequently to ask if we needed anything...asked if there were any issues. I would definitely rent this house again and use Beach Realty for rental properties.

We love the Outer Banks, this was our 3rd time using Beachrealty, previously very satisfied. We didn't receive our towels until the next day. We were missing a queen set of sheets. The hot tub didn't work, they sent someone out to check it and they said it worked. We proceeded to try to use it and it wouldn't work. I called, the company used for the hot tub maintenance, were very rude and sent me a picture of it working to which I replied that's great but it isn't working now. I called Beachrealty back and they sent someone out. It just needed to be reset they could have told me that over the phone. We love to play pool, the pockets on the table were taped on, we however did play some before the tape gave away. We plan on returning next year, this is our family vacation tradition I would not recommend Grey Goose to my friends. If it gets fixed up and cleaned properly it would be a great home! The property had plenty of amenities, but could have been in better condition. Initial cleaning/inspection left a lot to be desired: hanging shower curtains (not enough shower hooks), two master showers needed plumber's attention (defective converters on faucet, and stopped up drain), no clothes hanging hooks in any BR or bathrooms, no garbage disposal, LR carpet needs to be replaced, no working mixer in kitchen, window and door leaks reported to management company, rear storm door on first floor and pool gate need to be reversed, Regardless of these issues, we still had a great time. But for $5000 rental fee, I'm sure there are better places in OBX.

We had a blast last week visiting he outer banks!! The house was plenty big enough for the 11 of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the 2 coffee pots. (That made our morning go smoothly.) we had 2 people that had never been to the outer banks before and 3 that it was their second time. We will most likely do this again in a couple of years :).

The house was great with all of the amenities, but there were not bikes and there were not DVD capabilities. My son had to go purchase some technical equipment so that we could watch the upstairs tv. Coffee maker(there were 2) one worked and one leaked/so that was hard for the 12 of us. Otherwise, things went well and we had a really lovely time.

We found Grey Goose due to the property we reserved being a disaster upon arrival and we needed another rental. It turned out to be a great vacation thanks to Beach Realty placing us in this house and the owners allowing us to stay at the last minute! The location was great with only drawback being the ocean view is somewhat obstructed by other houses but walk to the beach was quick with easy beach access. It is also close to most anything you need or want to do. The layout of the house and size of rooms worked great for us, maybe a bathroom on bottom level would be nice. Pool was perfect with sun in the afternoon keeping it warm. The house needs a good cleaning and exterior glass doors and sliders need to be replaced but overall it is a great rental and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you again Grey Goose owners and Beach Realty!

This is a beautiful place that makes you so comfortable you feel as if it is a home away from home. Enjoyed having towels/sheets provided but did have to call Beach Realty about having the three dirty hampers from previous renters picked up and have fresh delivered. Was handled as soon as we called. Three years of renting with Beach Realty is also the easiest experiences we have ever had!

I was a bit put off by the uncleanliness of the house. The stove cooktop and vent hood were greasy, there was an entire box of fruit loop cereal spilled under the downstairs couch and clothing the from previous guests were under beds in the downstairs bedrooms. The ceiling fans in two rooms didn't work and none of the outside outlets on the decks worked. The rubber seal on the dishwasher is broken and it leaked all over the kitchen floor. The tv in the rec room would not change channels. The hot tub motor on one side did not work and it had been called in for service but the repair man did not get there until we had been in the house for a week. While sitting out on the deck the housekeeping crew pulled into the house next door and two people had a huge screaming argument in the driveway. Not very professional. I did enjoy the location of the home and it was a very short walk to the beach. The pool was very nice and it was cleaned regularly while we were there. The house is in need of some TLC but with better housekeeping services and all of the things I mentioned above fixed, I would stay there again. The way the house is at this point I would not recommend it to a friend. I don't know if it's just because it's near the end of the season that the house is in this condition. If so, the rental company should be aware of these issues and fix them.
