Location was super. Rooms were perfect.

At breakfast, they could have been more forthcoming with the hot options, we didn’t realise these were an option until the last day. It is a shame the bar is quite quiet in the evenings. The beach area directly in front of the hotel, could they put out some sun beds etc?

Great location, in the port with a great view over the harbour. The terrace is beautiful, and the staff are extremely friendly.

Breakfast was average and dinner was appalling, Chef's abilities need to be reviewed. Shower ran out of hot water in the mornings fairly quickly as well.

It is a beautifully designed hotel with a wonderful view over Porto Giglio and the sea. We liked the location as we could discover the beaches of Giglio and return to the hotel where there are many restaurants.

The only small thing I didn’t like was the pillows which need replacement

The location … position and view… are unbeatable. The staff were very friendly and helpful … we were initially disappointed with our room as it had only one window and was on a lower floor with a partial view only…. not what we thought we had booked…. reception staff did their best to change our room to a higher floor with a slightly better view and we appreciated that the hotel was full … despite this we felt very relaxed and enjoyed the intimate atmosphere created by staff and just loved this special island. The food is very good at the hotel. We hope to return soon.

Be aware that superior rooms with a seaview don’t always have x2 windows … photos were misleading.

La Guardia is a true gem. Luxurious but relaxed. We had the most beautiful week ever and are already planning to come back. If you're looking for a place to recharge and slow down, to nourish the soul, this is it. And the kitchen is healthy and delicious, too. The rooms are modern and luxurious, the beds comfy. And the view from the terrace is breathtaking. Most beautiful breakfast view ever.

Hotel is very stylish and furnished to a high standard. Our stay at the end of the season the hotel was very quiet. Staff very courteous. Only a short walk from the ferry terminal. Bedroom was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Dinner menu was very good.

Felt slightly awkward being served from the buffet breakfast by the staff. Appreciate this is due to Covid. . A small menu to explain the options for breakfast would have been helpful and clarified the options. Possibly also more readily available information about the walks/paths on the island, times of buses, taxis or boat trip options.

We really enjoyed this small hotel, located just 5 minutes away from the ferry boat station in Giglio Porto. Bedrooms are very clean, simple and very well furbished. Breakfast is really good and the staff helpful and friendly. The view from the restaurant terrace is breathtaking. We strongly recommend it!!

Beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful comfortable room. Everything brand new. Breakfast menu offers all sorts of delicious fresh drinks and food.

No dinner options due to the ending of the holiday season

Splendid location, directly situated at the harbor with easy access to the ferry to the mainland as well as to the restaurants and rental shops to further discover the island. Great rooms, very nice style, clean and bright, offering great comfort at a stunning view. We received some excellent recommendations from the friendly and competent staff where to go for swimming and dining.

The hotel has the perfect location. We had a modern room with a view of the picturesque little town. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. The outside seating area with deck chairs has direct access to the sea. The breakfast was a little limited in its choice.

There was no shower on the outside seating area with the deck chairs. For a four star hotel you would expect that. The flatscreen in the room should have a simpler handling in the multimedia e.g. the screen mirror for Apple products or Netflix apps to log in.
