The condo unit was clean and had most items that we needed like paper towels, ground coffee and Keurig pods, sugar, etc. The only thing missing was soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers. As others have suggested, the unit desperately needs new shades or blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The condo complex is dated in general, but it was not bothersome to us. The pool was heated. The condo is about 1.5 miles from most of the museums and restaurants, but we rented a golf cart, and that was perfect. Uber is also cheap and easy. The check in process and communication with Last Key rentals was great. Overall, this is a good option if you have a family.

Everything was perfect. The suite was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed… and more.
The property - pool, sauna, hot tub, etc. were well cared for a a real treat.
Location is perfect. We didn’t want too stay amongst the bustle of Duval St, but enjoyed the ~2 mile walk there and back. Proximity to beach was as described… just a few minutes walk away.

We had a great stay at this property! Can’t say enough about the check in/out process. It was very easy. Victor with Last Key Result was awesome. The unit was updated and very clean with plenty of room for a family. The guest book had great suggestions on places visit and eat. Very small negative is the carpet in the hallway of the building needs replacement due to age. We would definitely stay in the unit again on our next visit.

This apartment was awesome!! It was the perfect getaway for a week for 3 people. It was clean, with a lot of nice upgrades, and all the basic amenities you need for a week's stay. It was roomy for 3 people; at no moment we felt we were on top of each other. Very spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking essentials. A nice living room with a TV to enjoy movie nights. Bathrooms are well maintained and clean. Beds were comfortable and extra bedding was provided. The apt also had beach towels and chairs, and extra fans. Honestly, we have no complains. To top it all off, Victor, our guest services coordinator from Last Key was excellent! He was there with us throughout the check-in and check out process, and checked in with us every day of our stay to make sure all was going well. Last Key provides free concierge services to their clients so if you need info on anything or need reservations made, they are at your service. The apt complex had a nice big pool, with beautiful views of the ocean. It had a gym, library and game room. Totally recommend this!

Close to Duval St and the action of key west, but far away removed that it was quiet and relaxing. Great pool, very clean, and was nice they gave us a key lime pie. Victor, the property manager, and Charlie, the concierge, were both wonderful to work with. The only downside was the hard keys we had to carry to get into the condo building.

The property was very clean and very quiet and a nice location to have a family vacation. Also had a very nice pool area. My only drawback was having to move my truck out of the garage when it is 6 ft tall and fit under the 6'2 yellow sign when you entered.

This condo was very clean and spacious, located close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The check-in process was a little confusing. The security guard didn’t answer the phone after hours so we had to wait for one of the residents to let us into the building. Shampoo and conditioner would be helpful to have at the condo since none of us had any to reduce luggage weight. The key lime pie was a nice surprise, though! Really enjoyed the condo and it’s abundant amenities. Thank you very much for a nice place to call our home.

The condo was pretty clean and had all of the things you would need to make yourself at home. The area by the water was not really as pictured but that was okay with us. The location of the condo was not really close to all of the more popular spots so if you want to be close enough to the action to walk, this would be a little far for that.
A note about Key West in general. It is crowded and busy. The streets are very narrow and there are a lot of bikes, scooters, and pedestrians to maneuver around. Also, it is quite humid so if you don't appreciate that you may not love it there. It is very expensive to do anything there, including going out to eat. A lot of places seemed kind of run down which was a little surprising. If you plan to fly in to Miami and drive to Key West it can take awhile as most of the drive is two lane traffic and the speed limit is 45 for a lot of miles with people going even slower. If you get behind someone slow, you are pretty much stuck as there is not a lot of opportunities to pass.

My wife and I and our 3 young adult children really enjoyed our stay at Follow the Sun. The condo was as described with accurate photos and very clean. The building itself is pretty old but this unit has obviously been updated recently. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, patio was huge and the living area was plenty big for the 5 of us. The kitchen had all the appliances you'd expect though it could have used more storage or some sort of pantry - there isn't really a place to put your food.
The condo is very well furnished with beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, tennis raquets, plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware. Cooking supplies were adequate and there were various spices, etc. for use. WiFi worked very well too.
For it's age, the complex is in good shape. Pool area is nice, and though it has low ceilings, the parking garage is fine - it fit our GMC Acadia with no problem. The 3 tennis courts onsite are in very good shape too.
My only major complaint is the old fashioned key system the complex uses. While there's a modern keypad on the condo door you need a normal key to access everything - front door, outside stairs, getting out of the pool area into the main building, getting from garage to elevators. And there were only 3 keys that came with the unit so with 5 of it created an inconvenience sometimes. Would be nice if they could upgrade to a modern key card system or even have less access points that require a key (i.e. garage to elevators shouldn't need key because garage is already secured).
In summary, would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great time at this island house in Venture Out. We loved all the amenities, grilled our fresh fish and had a great dinner at the outside table, ride our bikes to the pool , and fished off the pier. Such fun. Thank you !

Our stay at Follow The Sun was exactly as advertised. Short walk (less than 5min) in one direction was Smathers Beach, short bike ride (less than 5 min) in the other direction was Higgs beach. Pool was perfect, plenty of lounge chairs, condo had all the basic essentials, beach towels, coolers, cookie supplies, everything you’d need! Would highly recommend staying here and am even contemplating renting it again for next year!!

We spent 4 nights here and it couldn't have been more relaxing, We had everything you could ask for: pool, beach, location, views, and more. We enjoyed it so much, we even asked to extend out stay but unfortunately it was not available. We will have to make it back another time.

Spacious clean and well maintained Property
I only have all praises for this property, the location, cleanliness, booking, and checking-in process. The price was pretty reasonable considering the economy right now. I was given all instructions for the check-in, parking, payments, etc in a timely manner with images by the Last Key Realty staff! They were super friendly and available on text or call. The only thing that took us by surprise was the parking garage height. The car rental agency gave us Nissan Armada and we were literally an inch away from the exposed pipes in the garage ceiling. They did have outdoor parking but once we made it into the garage the 1st time, we were ok. We didn't use any of the in house facilities but saw plenty of people enjoying the pool and outdoor grills. The beach view was clear from the living room and I loved that both the bedrooms had access to the balcony. The house provided with everything from spices, coffee, hand soaps, paper towels, beach towels, boogie boards, cooler, etc. Beach was right outside the main gate and the city was on the opposite end so didn't have too much traffic or noise.

Wonderfully appointed condo. Perfect location with easy walk to the beach. The owners have thoughtfully included chairs, umbrella, beach towels and a cooler. The building is secure, the pool was huge and the beach area was nice with beautiful views. Can’t wait to return!

The condo was as advertised. Very clean, roomy and comfortable. Great location. Very nice pool. Quiet. Well stocked kitchen. Had beach chairs, noodles, beach umbrella, coolers and beach toys for the kids. Nice views from the balcony and had table and chairs. Plenty of towels. Laura was wonderful to deal with.
