welcoming, cosy bar areas, good food . Friendly staff and welcoming to our dog.

Great food and breakfast. Pub and bar downstairs is thriving with good quality food.

Rooms are a little tired but perfectly functional. Bathrooms appears to have been updated fairly recently. All nice and clean.

I love old buildings and this one had it all the old winding staircase the well drop in the floor in the restaurant brilliant

The room was clean and warm, the staff were attentive and friendly . The breakfast menu had a good selection and the full english was lovely. We booked a meal on our first evening, and found the food excellent with a good choice.

Our room was on the road side and was a little noisy until the traffic died down but it didn't really stop us from sleeping well.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of perfectly home cooked food with many options available.

Difficult to say, as our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. I couldn’t fault anything, it was perfect and would recommend The King’s Head, Ross-on-Wye to anyone. We will definitely return!

A very enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. And the food at both breakfast and dinner was great value.

Fantastic Hotel with fantastic location in the town . Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Wonky stairs were ok and added character.

WiFi in room 10 was frustratingly unreliable. Using the shower room was rather challenging due to its microscopic size!

We love this hotel we loved our room , breakfast was perfect. We didnt have dinner as we were visiting family but hope to another time. We also enjoyed a quiet drink in the library before bedtime.

There was nothing to dislike !

This is actually one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms are modern , very comfortable and so characterful . Absolutely fabulous. We love it !

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good bar and restaurant. Comfortable bed.

Nothing of any real significance. Car park was small and tricky to access (but parking nearby easy to use). TV reception not great (but who goes away to watch TV!)

Good food - we ended up eating there every evening. The front of house staff were not just friendly and helpful but were happy too! Room was spacious and (apart from the lack of AC in the extreme heat) very comfortable.

Lack of AC (these were some of the hottest nights of the summer). The wine list needs some key additions to match the food and it would be good if someone front of house could do a short wine course (which I’m sure they’d enjoy). The car park is very small (nothing they can do about that!) but we did manage to find a space each evening.
