Location off the motorway (autobahn) was excellent the parking was great and the room was a very good size. The bathroom was good and the bed ok. Restaurant was good. The breakfast was included and truly excellent.

The room was quite hot and the duvet not too good - heavy. The shower screen along the bath was not too great.

The setting and room facilities. Close to a bus into Munster. Free parking.

Too many steps to reception in the main house (but OK in the annexe where we stayed). Not able to eat in the restaurant due to no availability for guests that evening.

Beautiful castle, grounds, and room, very clean, good service at breakfast, nice offices, gorgeous terrace, 10-minute drive to Munster

Near a busy road that can be heard when outside, pillows too soft, shower drained very slowly, shower head needed to be replaced, hard to find correct parking lot via Google maps, no dinner reservations available as they also serve non-hotel guests, desk in room too small to use for working, no place to walk in nature

Old school charme in a historic property. Dining room in the chateau with candle light service, an elegant, if old school, fine dining experience.

We had a suite in the annex: great size, and quiet with view of nearby golf course, but fairly dated design features. Impeccably clean though.

The breakfast to our surprise has a buffet at the main entrance and very tide to be served, no elegance at all. Unfortunately, we booked the hotel for 2 nights. The day of our leaving my wife was in the bathroom, while I went downstairs. She heard the door being opened and thought it was me, but instead it was the housekeeper entering the room without knocking at the door. This behaviour is not expected in any hotel much less in a 4* hotel. Hotel Schloss Wikingshege doesn’t deserve any star.

I have been there before. This time it was a stop on the way to Holland. We eat a delicious dinner in the restaurant.
