Only one of the staff could speak a few words in english. They honestly try to do their best, but the ability is limited because of the language, and they are not prepared to deal with the international customers. Outside there's no english whatsoever, either you need a guide or you are on your own with offline Google Translate. This place can only be recommended if you desperately need to stay in Haikou overnight. The room was rather spartan, yet reasonably neat and tidy.
