The villa to which we were assigned was well appointed: working AC, a rather large bedroom, excellent mattress, clean new bedsheets, TV, good room lighting, very good outdoor shower, double basins in the bathroom, well stocked toiletries, conveniently located electric sockets, excellent WiFi, very helpful and friendly staff. But we didn't try the restaurant, because there were just too many cafes, restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance!

There were many one step inclines that senior guests would need to be aware.

The villas are very roomy and clean. The outdoor shower is different. The garden, grounds in general and pool are are very clean.The small restaurant offers a nice basic breakfast. The staff are very friendly, obliging and courteous.

After torrential rain the grounds were flooded. You were required to walk through ankle deep water for a day or so. The beach, shops and restaurants are awkward to get too and a long distance to walk.

They wait for us even though it was after the hours. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating.

We stayed in a villa with a private pool. It was beautiful! So much space to relax, and it felt very private. We had our breakfast delivered to the villa, you could choose from western and Indonesian options, with fresh fruits, juice and coffee, it was delicious! The villa is a quick walk to the main street and beach, and there are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. The staff were so welcoming, and helped us with everything we needed, they felt like old friends instantly! I can’t recommend Katala enough, and I can’t wait to visit again! :-)

We loved this place having stayed there for 9 days in total. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was beautiful, and the location was perfect. Just around the corner from the main road in Sanur but in a quiet tucked away spot away from the hustle and bustle. Matteo and Lea hosted us like family and made the check in, our stay, and the check out wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Be careful of the bugs as this is Bali so take bug spray!

The place. Katala Villas is a place where I would definitely come back when decide to come back to Bali. The facilities and villa are decorated in the spirit of Bali. The place is spotless with everything you need . it offers delicious breakfast. it is in the heart of Sanur but in the same time super calm and secluded. The people I don’t thing the words would be enough to describe the level of service. Special thanks to Rika who was with us in each step. We had arranged transfer from the airport where we met Dedek who also was our private guide for couple of days ahead showing Bali’s best places. Rika also arranged for us round trip to Gili T making sure that everything will go smooth and well. Bali is a great place indeed but what actually makes it special are the Balinese people such as Rika and Dedek

Matteo and his team are the best hosts we ever met, very attentive, polite and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable, rooms are perfect and more than clean, pool is just beautiful, so helpful with ferry tickets, transfers, tipps for all other places we want to visit🤩

We had a great time at Katala Villas. We stayed for more than a week. The location is great, it's quiet but at the same time close to many restaurants, cafés, and shops (10min by walk). The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Once we got invited to fry bananas with them. We regularly got free fresh fruits and nuts. They were so kind and installed a drinking water dispenser in our room since we stayed for longer (otherwise you can get free drinking water at their restaurant). The pool was really nice, our room was spacious and clean. Well-Functioning AC. Room comes with a small fridge.

Wifi was not the strongest.

Great place to stay in Sanur, the one bedroom villa was awesome, easy short walk lots of restaurants, bars, money changer etc and amazing staff, would definitely recommend 😊
