Checkin was quick and easy with parking under the hotel (you can pay for parking at reception or at the machine when you leave, not sure if there is a benefit). The rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very normal for a French hotel.

The price seemed a little high considering the location but I feel they are cashing in on the large businesses around the area.

We arrived on motorcycles and the check in guy couldn't have been more helpful allowing us to park at the back of the Hotel in a secure place. The hotel was clean and comfortable with good size rooms and a good shower, which is exactly what I needed after a long day on a motorcycle! Bars and good restaurants are all close by. Good breakfast with nesspresso coffee which was a nice touch.

A superb Mercure hotel in the centre of Valenciennes. Spacious and modern room. Spotlessly clean, well maintained, stylish.

I liked the very central location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the hotel. I liked the bath

minibar wasn't working and empty because of this.
