The staff were beyond amazing! Everyone from the front desk staff who would help with taxis, arrangements, suggestions. The staff who worked on the grounds were also outstanding. There wasn’t a staff member who didn’t go out of there way to make you feel welcome, spend time conversing, and becoming a friend.

Facilities are needing upgrading and were not reflective of the pictures on booking.com. Buries need a thorough cleaning along with upgrading linens, pluming fixtures. Only about 1/2 the furniture is on-site from the pictures listed on website, along with pool furniture being plastic loungers also needing replacing.

Good staff, good location, nice grounds. Food was fine, the 8-bed dorm is ok. Good place to meet other travelers.

The bathrooms are a bit far and not always clean. And most of the time with no toilet paper.

It's location, safe, friendly staff and budget-friendly. It also has good wifi connectivity.

Could improve on making sure the shared bathroom is clean and improve on the food menu and quality.

The staff was so nice, they knew us by our first names. The locations was good, close to the beach and some restaurants. The food at the lodge’s restaurant was good and at a reasonable price. The pool was nice and the property was gorgeous with all the palm trees everywhere! The lodge offered a lot of activities for their guests and gave us good local advice. I liked that they turned off the electricity during the day, although it did require some adjustments in our daily routine. For example, it was impossible take a small nap in our room during the day because the A/C wasn’t on and therefore, it was way too hot! Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there!

There were a lot of ants in our room and even a rat… But in the middle of the nature it was kind of a bit expected. The positive things about the lodge weighed more than this, so my overall experience was really good!

- Booked airport shuttle did not show up - Unfortunately some things were taken from my room incl. Apple AirPods. Staff partly supported in this case but only after re-asking (e.g. manager who offered to be contacted via what’s app did not response). In the end, they did not manage to find my stuff but drove me to the police station to make a report.

The ambiance, the outside shower, it was so divine. Be in the shower and seeing the blue sky ...me and my new friends loved it. They were very happy and thankful that I chose Maravu Lodge as our accomodation in Taveuni Island. Vinaka Henry! :)

Electricity was turned off each day between 10am and 4pm and could not escape the heat or get a cold drink during this period. Had to visit near cafe for cold drinks and meals. No air circulation in dining area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious with great fans and air conditioning , super comfortable bed and fantastic shower pressure. Maravu Lodge is a Fiji Care registered accommodation.

The water in the shower wasn't draining properly and it couldn't be fixed. The cupboards would need a good wipe on the inside to be usable. A mosquito net would have been helpful for some nights. To be fair there was a bit of a covid surge on the island while we were there, which would have put extra pressure on everyone.

lovely gardens and cute huts, air con in the rooms and very clean. I got sick (traveling alone) and Kitthiana and her partner went out of their way to help me, super kind, attending to me and moving me to a better room. Its like a family everyone is friendly and inclusive.

The place is very rundown. We were told by locals that the owners are not putting any monies into the upkeep of the property nor repairing the property, only being interested in selling it. It was not worth the money we paid to stay there and we were happy we were only there for one night.

Conveniently located, beautiful property next to a pretty beach, cafes and restaurants. Friendly staff Restaurant is good home cooked meals, and decently priced Great scuba diving options!

Great staff very friendly and helpful, everyone was really nice, from reception to housekeeping, restaurant, bar. Location is very good too, close to a very nice beach, airport and a good restaurant. The restaurant at the resort is amazing, very nice food cooked by Ben and Julie.

This resort has a great potential but unfortunately seems like they are not taking care too much. Poor maintenance of the place, a lot of things to repair. Could be better in terms of quality of the facilities.

The good part of this hotel is the cafe with great options, breakfast was great and healthy. The nature and surrounding stunning! Private rooms are nice, just run down, however could be easily improved if some time invested and better management.

I will be honest. Please don’t have big expectations,this hotel is not well managed! What I mean the facilities are the hotel is run down. AC is not working! Warning ⚠️ The pool is not maintained, see the pic, the frogs 🐸 swimming there. AC is not working, only the fan. Not with the money 💰 they are asking tourists to pay. This hotel potentially can be a very nice place, just need to invest time to take care of the facilities!
