The location is amazing. Very quiet only birds will wake you up. We really enjoyed the stay and how the place and gardens were maintained. Nature is present everywhere.

The garden, the forest, the location, the breakfast, the very comfortable bed.

Very dark bungalow with musty smell. I cannot recommend the restaurant for dinner, it is very big and looks like a canteen. And it is quite expensive. In the morning at breakfast you cannot order an espresso coffee, they only have very diluted American coffee. The bar, where you can order good coffee, opens too late. The wifi is so poor.

The location was excellent, with tremendous views of the Arenal Volcano while also being an easy drive to the retail part of La Fortuna as well as outdoor activities. Our room and all public spaces we immaculately clean, and the landscaping was lovely and beautifully maintained. It was great to have the privacy of an individual casita vs a standard hotel room.

Two things that kept me from giving Lomas a 10: the very spotty WiFi in our casita was frustrating because both my wife and I had a small amount of work to do. The other complaint, which is the downside of the beautifully maintained landscaping, was the morning ritual of power trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.

Having our own private bungalow at this price was an absolute dream! We had a perfect view of the volcano when the clouds moved away from our back patio.

The road leading up to the resort is extremely rocky and tough on a car if you don't have an SUV or jeep.
