Perfect location and easy to access
It was basic but it fit all of our needs for family of four.

Amenities and location of property
Has no lifts so if room is allotted on second floor, you have to carry luggage upstairs.

Regarding the reviews I was positively surprise for the clean standards in the room and bathroom.
Localisation was good , not far from centre .
My Basel pass for commuting never arrived .

Can't tell because I could not get in. The no-contact check-in does not work.
Everything. I could not find a key. The instructions emailed to me did not tell me which apartment number I need to look for. The pin code in the email - I did not understand what that was for. I tried it on all four doors and worked on none. I spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to get in. The host was unavailable on the phone. I had booked to get in between 11 PM to 12 AM. The host was unavailable since I booked the room at around 10 PM till 1 AM, so I could not get any help to get in. So far on Booking.com I also don't see a way to request a refund. I hope there is one.

I was unable to stay at the property due to insufficiently clear instructions. I arrived late in the evening and could not use the code I was given to get the key, I had to call the hotline. On both German and English version I was told I'm calling "outside of working hours" even though it's a 24/7 hotline (I was calling at 1am). Apparently (for the sake of another poor soul who ends up in this situation) you should wait until number 6 (?!) for the voice machine. As I didn't stay at all, I have requested a refund but the staff is not willing to admit their fault. Very bad impression. Will not come again.

It was troublesome communicating on-line and having no staff on site. That's especially because our internet and German phone numbers weren't working on location.

Close to the place at the corner you find a nice Coffee Shop where you can get a hot te or coffee
Bathroom extremely old, smelly, dirty.
I requested two beds and we got one (big) with only one blanket for two. We were very cold during nights in Basel was -7 degrees.

The room itself had all the necessary amenities and items. The bed comfortable and clean, having a window was pleasant.
The common bathroom had spiderwebs and spiders all over the ceiling, the floor was sticky and the sink had no handsoap. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbours. There is also no lift, just round wooden staircase, in case you have big luggage.

It was to collect keys.
The bed was comfortable.
The shared toilet was dirty and with only one toilet paper.
The shower was dirty as well and the floor in the shower room is very slippery, I almost fell there. It is dangerous.
There was no hand soap provided near the sink.
The toilet and shower are in the same room, means when someone in the shower, other people can't use the toilet.

The Room was dirty, small, nothing like on the pictures. There wasnt elevator for a 4 floor and no fan. The bed was unstable. My best friend and I had to rent another hotel roon because this one was bad

Distance from the city center and tram
No AC, wooden tight stairs (very loud), bathroom not very clean, door to the building wasn't closing (it was possible, but it was hard so door was usually open). Internet wasn't available (there was limit of 6 people). There was a needle left under the bedsheet!

nice room . simple check in and you can come any time without being hurry if it’s late
a bit far away location from the center. very noisy. you can hear everyone who is walking the corridor. Bathroom was clean and spacious but common for more then 3 rooms.

I hardly managed to stay. I made an error as I was typing in the booking dates and could change it. I lost my money like that.

Location was good and close to facilities. Finding a parking spot was challenging. Access to the apartment was easy with a pass code.
There was a smelly rubbish container at the front door (ground floor outside). The interior was a bit sober although I did not mind.
