Easy, relaxing, comfortable holiday.

Location was fantastic, super close to beach, close to town. Loved that the resort offered free boogie boards, surfboards, e-bikes, fishing rods, slushies etc - my colleague ended up extending for Easter and bringing her family. Pool, gym, facilities were awesome.

There was a planned power outage on our last night and when the power came back on the dishwasher beeped every 15 seconds the whole night. After trying all options to stop it, we were unable to and we were unable to reach the power point behind it. It really wasn't user friendly and we didn't end up sleeping our last night. Super rare, isolated incident though and it didn't deter us from wanting to re-visit and for referring our friends and colleagues.

It was lovely.

Location was great. Rooms spacious. Love the cafe n dinner options a short walk away. Free slushies a bonus for the kids.

I didn’t like being tricked with the glass of champagne and the 20 minute check in. The receptionist knew that we had driven 9 hrs and I had my 3 kids and hubby in the car so all we wanted to do was get the key and start our holiday.

Wish for nothing

The accommodation, the pool and sauna, the atmosphere

I was in the sauna daily and it was so dirty under the benches, every day the same dirt, I thought it would be cleaned daily with all the germs from sweating. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and they were out of pancakes- if you make them from scratch you can just make up a batch. So don't know how they couldn't make any. My kids were so disappointed. My bedroom downstairs backed onto a lane serving cabins from a holiday park. 2 of the days they were servicing the cabin right opposite me, drilling and hammering all day and 2 vans parked right outside the window all day Also cars passing at night. I prefer the villas on other side facing the pool and foot paths.

Car parking was a challenge and the walk to our room was a bit of a hike. Especially with a toddler. Pillows although comfy were a bit to high

Being hounded to go to a time share meeting! I paid for my room before I got there Was given a glass of cheap fizz, and then asked to come to the meeting Not once !! But 3 times and was followed to the car park and asked again!! Despite telling him I’m staying for work I start at 7 am finish at 4 pm Nothing seemed to sink in!!!! Extremely off putting!! No I will not stay there again

Worst stay ever

Nothing

Charged my $100 up front, in case there were any outstanding debts upon departure. No debts were incurred and damage was sustained, and yet I am still waiting for my refund of the amount deducted. Room was not serviced. I didnt see any mention of there not being any cleaning or fresh towels or bed remake.

Superb

Location very close to Flynns Beach - one of the best beaches in Port Macquarie. Heated pool with jacuzzi. Very friendly staff - very approachable, willing to help and always with a listening ear. Good comfortable room Clean bathroom. Wifi strong and excellent. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime in the room free of charge Henrys restaurant service v good

I am a disability support worker & the accommodation was incredible however, the pressure to attend the Wyndham Sales 90 minute session was intense & I find it hard to say no to things and was hoping the many times I mentioned that I would see how my client felt about bringing her along etc wasn't a detorant! Phone calls at our accommodation, my mobile, voice messages for the 'no show' wanting to know when I could attend... It was terrible & caused my client and I alot of anxiety so we didn't go to the restaurant, pool or get supplies as we knew we would be pressured and my client didn't want to attend or for me to leave her..

A relaxing, nice stay after a sour start.

The villa was lovely, well designed and comfortable. The swimming pool was excellent.

I did not like being bamboozled into agreeing to attend a timeshare presentation. It was a real sour note to the start of my much needed holiday. The next day I did decline to attend and was not hassled which I was grateful for. Apart from that my stay was great however I would warn anyone else planning to stay about the presentation.

Was a really nice hotel. Kids had an amazing time. Will definitely visit again.

Apartment was very spacious. easy access to the pool. staff were really friendly and attentive. Plenty of kitchen facilities.

Check out was a little complicated while trying to pay the room service bill. Also on a side note, I ordered a grazing box for my wife’s birthday which we never received.

towels were very thin. Sun beds around the pool uncomfortable. a gust was smoking on her balcony and the waft of cigarette smoke to the pool area was horrible.

the outdoor pool is slippery and I injured my leg badly, it needs some more non slip surface applied to pool floor. I reported this directly with the hotel as well.

Very good

We liked how welcoming the staff were and the local knowledge that they had in recommending activities that we may enjoy.

We didn't like that the balcony screen door didn't have a lock on it, which would give us the option of leaving the glass door open while we were sleeping or within the resort. We didn't like the amount of mozzies there were around the balcony, it didn't really allow for eating on the balcony, maybe some mozzie control device could be made available for us for guests.
