Clean room and lovely balcony and good breakfast!

Shower cubicle showing signs of mould issues. Bathroom light is very dark. Hard to see in the mirror.

Bed comfortable , good size room , balcony with nice outlook , pleasant staff.

Had one night in restaurant...meals very good , but unfortunately restaurant and bar closed Saturday and Sunday. Had to scource takeaway!

On arrival our plans had changed and 3 of the 6 people booked no longer required and over night stay. When making reception aware they had no compassion. I ask to down grade the room for just 3 people. 1 of those people is a 7 month old baby, 1 adult & one 10 year old. I explained the situation hoping to be moved to a smaller room. The staff responded by saying they are running on Skelton staff and another room was not made up. No price reduction was was given or even mentioned. On the way out, after making payment the receptionist told me the pool was not to be used because it was just dosed with chlorine. Opening the door to the room I couldn’t believe what I’d paid for. Cob webs in the corners of the windows, green build up around the base of dirty grout around the shower floor, vents filthy, stains on head boards dirty hand prints on the head board, dust everywhere it could be. I couldn’t believe the “skeleton staff” didn't bother to clean the room before our stay. I immediately searched for other accommodation for a night stay, being late in the day I didn’t have an option. I packed my stuff back into the car and drove 5 hrs home.
