The apartment is very beautiful with a lovely view, very clean and well maintained. The location is ideal, 3 min wak to the Rialto vaporetto station. The host is very nice and kind. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

The flat is in an excellent location. It is quite spacious, much bigger than we expected and the decor is very attractive and Venetian. The kitchen cum living room is quite vast and there are windows looking out onto the canals from the living room, bedroom and the bathroom. It was fun listening to the gondoliers as they steered their passengers around and watching the activity on the canals. There is an excellent Chicetteria (Venetian style tapas) just a few strides from the apartment and it’s only a few minutes walk from the vaporetto stop at Rialto. It’s not too noisy at night but the flat isn’t suited to anyone with mobility problems as there are 20 or more stone steps up to it. We were a couple staying there which is perfect for this particular flat with one bedroom. Were it not have been for the comments below, we would have given this appartment a score of 9 or 10.

I’m afraid we had a long list of issues with the appartment which is such a pity, as the owner seemed a nice lady, but maybe just not aware of modern day expectations. Firstly, as mentioned by a previous reviewer the bedsheets were shabby and stained. On the day we arrived, we pulled back the sheets only to find a dead moth between them. There was also a small twig under the pillow. Then we had problems with the plumbing where the water wouldn’t run away in the wash basin or in the shower. We told the lady about it and she said there was a plunger in the bathroom. Hmmm! In addition to this, we found there was a half eaten ice-cream in the freezer part of the fridge, there was a previous occupants’ waste behind the waste bin and finally if you needed to use the second wardrobe - which a family staying there would need to do - the rail to hang things on was so high that unless you are at least 6 foot tall, you wouldn’t be able to reach it! A few more coat-hangers would have been ideal but I bought some in Flying Tiger nearby. Where the sheets are concerned, I decided to buy some new ones, which we found in Venice after a day searching for some, and luckily the owner reimbursed us for them. After this, we felt happier. Our only other gripe, which in fairness, we did know in advance, was that there is a hefty fee if you arrive late in the evening, which regrettably we did as our flight didn’t arrive til 8.30pm. This seemed a bit excessive, especially as many flights don’t arrive til late at night. It was non-negotiable alas. All this said, if the owner only took notice of ours and the previous similar comments, we would definitely book the flat again. It’s the poor housekeeping that’s really the problem. Such a pity as otherwise it would be perfect.

Link to the Apartment's location on booking.com is wrong. Lady meeting us at the location was not pleasant, very impatient and argumentative.She wasn't too pleased with us being late arriving at the property. And the reason for us being late was the incorrect location details provided on the website + Venice was flooded on that day, what made it very difficult to move around the city. But the staff on arrival could not care less about that...we were bombarded with text from her when trying to find the place, which did not help at all.

Great location and views of canal

The apartment was very modern and beautiful. It was located over a canal which gave it stunning views!

It is near a local bar so it can get loud specially on the weekends.

We had a wonderful stay. Dianna met us in the square just steps from Rialto bridge. She walked us to the apartment and gave us the keys/tour of the apartment. The apartment is beautiful and clean. We were 2 couples. 1 bedroom is smaller with twin beds but we pushed them together. There are 2 bathrooms but 1 is very small. There is a great little bar just steps from the door for drinks and snacks. The location was very convenient being just steps from Rialto bridge. We walked everywhere and this is a stop for the boats. On arrival it was just 2 boat stops from the train station. When we were going home there was a boat that took us straight to the airport.

Our only complaint is that it was very noisy at night. We just assumed that being on a smaller canal there would only be gondolas during the day. There are many boats travelling constantly all night which apparently isn't unique to this apartment. Something to consider. It is a beautiful view to be on a canal but hard to sleep if noise bothers you.

We arrived on Sunday for my birthday for a long weekend with my partner and boyfriend. On booking.com there was an option to select your arrival time so we selected 12-1pm. upon arriving in the city between these times, we put the address provided into our Google maps. This led us round in circles so we tried calling and messaging the number provided with no luck. we eventually got through and the lady from the apartment told us she was going to set off to meet us, and would be an hour and a half. We went to get some lunch while we waited and then went to a shops where she said she would meet us. Our map got confused again and we tried to call to ask if she could come and meet us since we really couldn’t find the apartment. Nadia got really cross on the phone and put the phone down on me. We were then stuck in the centre of the city in blistering hot sunshine, all our cases and completely clueless as to where we should be. A while later we received a message with a new address on, and nothing else. So we put this new address into the map which took us so far but not to the address, so I rang again and Nadia said she would meet us by a specific shop. We managed to navigate to this shop and Nadia wasn’t there. We kept trying to call Nadia and message with no response. She eventually came round the corner shouting at us and pointing to a courtyard. We followed her down a few back streets and through a courtyard to where the apartment was. She seemed very angry and cross with us for simply not being able to find the apartment. However, the address on booking.com wasn’t the actual address of where we were staying. Nadia did eventually apologise whilst in the apartment but the stress and upset had already been caused. We understand mistakes happen but the general way in which we were treated and spoken to was extremely unprofessional and not a good start to my holiday break. On a positive note, the apartment has a good view of one of the canals.

The bathroom (shower) could use a deep clean and all the linens (bedding and towels) were really worn. They were clean but were torn and stained in some places. Also could have used better toiletries in the bathroom (not just shampoo).
