Jenny warmly welcomed us upon arrival, ensuring we felt comfortable and catering to our every need. Her thoughtfulness extended to providing essentials for our baby, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Peter and Jenny were fantastic hosts, engaging us in delightful conversations. Their friendliness, love, and passion for hospitality were evident throughout our stay. The breathtaking sunrise views and beautiful bay scenery from the deck and bedroom were truly remarkable, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere at night. The freshly made and delicious breakfast was a delightful way to start each day. Additionally, we were impressed by the eco-friendly nature of the cottage, which showcased their thoughtfulness towards sustainability. . It was like a tropical paradise. it is run by a lovely couple, our daily breakfasts just delicious while you sit and watch Tuis in the birdbath on your deck.

The cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you might need for a break away. The home cooked breakfast was amazing with extra little treats as well. The surroundings were pretty and very relaxing with a great sea view. We loved the big deck and outdoor areas.

Everything about this property is wonderful. Peter is a terrific and interesting host, the cottage is well equipped, immaculate, in a quiet location and comfortable. The breakfasts were simply outstanding. Many thanks to Peter and his crew for making this stop memorable. The bird watching was superb as well.

Secluded and peaceful, breakfast was good, the most amazing muffins! Highly recommended to friends and family a great spot to recharge.

The accommodation was very peaceful and quiet, just what we enjoy. Peter and Jenny went out of their way to accommodate our somewhat challenging diet.

Wonderful location not far from Russell township but far enough away to have peace & quiet and lovely views. Delicious breakfast each day, delivered with a smile. Very private self contained cottage with main room & bedroom opening out onto wonderful deck with table & chairs. Great place to eat breakfast.

Amazing stay in a hidden paradise. We loved this place and our hosts. The cottages are so stylish with lots of impressive details in every corner. Amazing view outside. All the needed facility inside. And the breakfast,omg! The most delicious homemade breakfast we could have ! Loved the place and 100 percent recommend it and will go back!

Nothing - the place is perfect

The most delicious breakfasts every morning! Thank you for spoiling us with your amazing culinary skills, Jenny. We loved the tranquility amongst the gardens and native birds, our own cottage had everything you needed and more with lots of privacy and of course the location, no matter the weather, is always beautiful.

The bed was a bit too firm and the wifi connection weakened so we had to use our own data, nothing major to complain about though.

Beach pebble-ly and not so much for swimming. Kayaking okay.

Breakfast was superb.

Jenny is a fabulous cook and we found her breakfasts were better in quality and taste than anything we bought out. It was also a very short drive (5-10 mins) to several beaches and the town centre. Peter was also incredibly friendly and personable. The wifi was also very patchy but it was actually nice to disconnect from the digital world for the week. We would absolutely stay there again.

The sofa was well loved and could have been more comfortable when unwinding in the evenings.
