The views are stunning and the location is great The owners are very friendly and hospitable There are lovely stacker doors in the lounge and bedroom. Birdlife is amazing . The unit we had were really private and we appreciated the lush vegetation in the garden

The internet is slow if you want to work from there and the one evening Netflix didn’t work, we got locked in when we close the toilet door - got stuck every time. The stacker doors in the bedroom didn’t work. No wash basin in the unit for dishes as the kitchen is outside the unit which is ok in summer but inconvenient. The bathroom tap needs a fix and the plugs at the desk didn’t work. A WhatsApp message to check us in and out would have been appreciated

Nothing, except that despite many attempt to contact the hosts on various numbers afterward, we have still not been able to get hold of anyone to return our memory foam pillows that we forgot there. I am now doing this review in the hope that they will finally get back to us because they are expensive and important to us, but they simply have refused to answer us. The actual stay was great, but they could not be less interested once we left.

No meals are served - self catering

Despite its fantastic view and comfortable bed, the rest was very disappointing—no wifi at all, no TV, and nothing for music. The open sliding doors for view must be closed from 5 pm as many mosquitos were present. The self-catering only works if there is electricity and no back is available even for lights except for 2 candles. The normal fast food deliveries do not deliver there so you are forced to drive quite a distance for a takeaway or might as well eat at a restaurant.

The apartment has a stunning view, peaceful atmosphere and very private. The amenities are convenient, with fast wifi and all the necessary kitchen appliances to have a comfortable stay. The host and staff were really friendly. It is a great location, you can stay in and enjoy the view or go out and enjoy the surrounding areas - with easy access to the n2. We went cycling and running from the house, the area is beautiful.

The room has the most incredible views! There is an inverter, so all lights and the WiFi work during loadshedding. Great value for money Wilderness Getaway.
