Die Lage maccht vieles wett, wir würden trotzdem nicht wieder buchen.

Die Lage

Badezimmer zum Wohnraum offen, ohne Tür. Vom Bett oder Sofa sieht man direkt zur Toilette, d.h. Keine Privatsphäre beim Toilettengang. Ein rudimentärer offener „Schrank“ also kaum Stauraum. Auch keine Haken etc. um ein Hand- oder Badetuch aufzuhängen. Der/die Hosts waren sehr unpersönlich.

Spacious, modern, clean and has everything you need. Great location, walking distance from all the nice shops and restaurants.

Toll ausgestattete große Wohnung fast mitten in Stellenbosch, mit allem Komfort incl. Airkondition.

Die Wohnung war dieses Mal noch größer als bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt in 2019. Die Ausstattung ist top und die Lage fast mitten in Stellenbosch ist perfekt, um alles zu Fuß zu erledigen. Auch der zwar kleine Pool aber mit ausreichend Sonnenliegen ist schön für die eine oder andere Stunde. Gesichertes Parken ist gewährleistet.

Perfect stay in Stellenbosch!

Fantastic location, we walked to restaurants and shops. Although the property is situated in central Stellenbosch, it is very quite at night, no traffic or street noice.

This is a neat and clean spot to stay in Stellenbosch. Easy to walk around the town and enjoy great restaurants. The rooms is big and trendy. Nice size bathrooms and living space.

No tissues We would have kike if there was a fire burning or at least wood available for a fire as it was wuite a cokd and rainy day

Exceptional

The room is super clean and very spacious. Every little single thing that you find there is nice and well-designed. The owner is very friendly and helpful and he even let us stay a little longer after the check-out time since we had the blackout all morning.

The toilet in the bedroom does not have door, which we didn't quite feel comfortable when having necessities.

Location & Staff are perfect!

Very friendly staff - super clean - just a stone's throw away from center - super quiet! Definitively a great place!

The suites (basement) are having no door to the bathroom and thus to the toilet. Those who need privacy when using the toilet are definitively here in the wrong place.

De Haas Living comes highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and attentive to all our requests. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Perfect for longer term stays. This is our second time here.

Quirky, great location.

Great property, unusual and quirky. Good location. Nice staff.

Only negative was the lack of hot water in the morning for showers. Water temperature was luke warm in both bathrooms.

couldn’t understand that side gate was locked and operated with a code but the large gate next to it for cars was never locked so security not the best

Stylish and chic, city central

The location is perfect for walking into town to all the bars and restaurants- the apartment is huge, well equipped and extremely stylish and comfortable.

The open plan bathroom is a bit off putting - 27 years married and I don’t want to share my bathroom habits to that extent! Had to plan our bathroom breaks to avoid embarrassment but that would not stop me staying at this fabulous place again - just something to be aware of not a game changer!

The location. The bed was very comfortable efficient Aircon and large living space. Staff were very friendly.

The floors were rather grubby lots of dead flies and previous occupants hair. Needs a good spring clean. I do understand it's difficult with the load shedding but lots of other accommodations achieve better results. Fresh towels daily would be a bonus as they get so grubby

Enjoyable stay.

Modern and spacious accommodation close to the hub of Stellenbosch.

Not a fan of completely open bedroom/bathroom setups with windows giving a complete view from the parking lot. No generator or inverters for loadshedding.

Nice stay

Nice big rooms with well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Nice garden and chill pool. Good location to restaurants whilst still being quiet at night.

No door on the bathroom and toilet. I mean seriously, a bit of privacy even for your partner is needed. This is a bit ridiculous from a design perspective. The lights outside of the apartment are a bit annoying that you can’t turn them off yourself.

Good

Apartment is beautifully fitted and well designed. It's in an excellent location for the town centre and many surrounding wine farms.

Air-conditioning in one bedroom did not work. We had no hot water on the second night through to the morning, which was quite inconvenient for showering after a long day of touring and on waking in the morning. It was impossible to reach any staff to get feedback on the water situation.
