Lovely old property in a brilliant location. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Very clean, comfy bed, we found the decor rather bland but that’s a personal preference.

Central location, friendly staff. We had a very comfortable stay - it is a nice hotel and walking distance to everything you need in Stellenbosch.

Location, place with a lot of history, and they try to keep the original look

Bed sheets are very rough, and I will suggest a light blanket for hot weather

Old-school décor lovers will appreciate the place more - the antique furniture's and the high ceilings where the highlights of my room. the bed is one of the most conformable and the bathroom is very modern. the reception by Emile was fantastic and the smart TV is good with a Netflix and showmax options.

the location is a bit away form the center but that could be good thing as its less noisy. they do not have in house restaurant so you have to go out to get dinner. the breakfast come with your booking and you don't have an option to exclude it, it was average meal with limited Hot breakfast option how ever the coffee was good. surprisingly , you wont even get a free water in the mini bar - everything is charged :(

Good location Clean

Very noisy (our room was close to a busy street, the hotel did not have an alternative room on a more quiet side; in the morning there were loud noises coming from the roof so we could not sleep past 5am) Breakfast was mediocre (fruit was not very fresh, cheese neither, coffee was actually good) No towels in the room (were provided upon request) Very dirty pool We asked to check out early after one night (since we clearly did not like it) and to get a refund but this was declined

Lovely location, beds are super comfortable and the hotel and its facilities are great.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

Aircon was leaking first day and night. It was fixed during 2nd day.
