Unique and comfortable place located in the jungle. Super nice and thoughtful Host Greg, who recommended to us lot of activities and spots in Uvita. Highly recommended place for stay in Uvita!

It was the best stay I had in Costa Rica. A Paradies. Perfckt location even to stay longer. Quiet and safe, with a lovely garden thaf leads to the river. A Kirchen that has all you need.

Great hosts who were very kind to us throughout our stay. Property is well designed, functional and clean. Excellent value for the money.

Note that the location is close to the river but pretty far from the beach up a unpaved road with many local dogs which bark at pedestrians at night.

The location was perfect, in nature, quite, close to the streaming cascade and pools. everything green and welcoming. Ginnette, the host was so nice and helpful with tips and suggestions. we will decently recommend and would like to visit again.

Don’t expect something fancy, for us we loved it being simple, tide and clean.

Everything! Beautiful property and great value. We had the open air room, I was anxious about the bugs when booking but it truly was a non issue. Turned out to be quite refreshing. Kitchen is practical and has basic needs. We scrambled up the river bed to Uvita falls and checked out the local swimming hole, both amazing!

A bit hard to find, google maps took us down the adjacent street. Dull kitchen knives desperately need sharpening.

Lovely host and great location. Beautiful property. In the middle of the jungle - near the river and waterfalls. Massive opening to the garden in the room was beautiful. Made my stay in Uvita an incredible experience.

No mosquito nets. Surprisingly there are very few mosquitos but I still got tormented by one all of my first night.

The hotel was very near to the river and the garden was wonderful! It was very clean.

The room did not have a window and I heard the people in the kitchen talking. But if you please them, they will take care of you.

Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Ginette and her husband are extremely welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival Ginette showed us a natural swimming pool nearby. The room is very comfortable and we slept very well. Restaurants and supermarkets are in walking distance. Soda Machito is about 10 minutes walking distance. The food there is very delicious and affordable. 2800 colones for lunch and 1500 colones for breakfast. There's also a great laundry place next to the soda. At our accommodation, Ginette provided us with a natural handmade honey and oat soap bar, which was a very nice touch and smells sooo good. Definitely recommended!

The room we slept in had no window - which was fantastic!! No bugs at all, just the sounds of nature around you. The owners were very lovely, bathrooms clean, kitchen available. Would recommend.

It's far up the hill, so without a car it will not be fun. But on the other hand - you're closer to the waterfall!

- The staff was super kind and fun. Gave us amazing advice on what to do around. - The place is located in the hills above Uvita (4x4 not needed, driving skills required), next to a little river. You can walk up the river to the Uvita waterfalls (takes about 45 min) or just sit in it enjoying a drink on a hot day. - Room upstairs feels like your are in a luxurious tree house. Room was covered with musquito net windows and the kitchen was super well equipped. Very quiet also. - Everything you need (BM Supermarket, good butcher, bank, beach, etc.). - Amazing price quality.

Starting from the property we climbed over the rocks 300m up a river to a falls and swimming hole, avoiding a CR 2000 entrance fee. Well equipped kitchen.

Stayed in the room with private bathroom. Half of the outside wall was an opening without a screen or any means to close the 'window'. There were only a few mosquitoes but leaving the light in the room after dark attracted all manner of bugs. Not a big deal but could be very easily prevented.

There are 3 sets of lodging to rent and we rented all 3 for our group of 6. This place is in the forest with access to the creek and waterfall. The sounds were just great. We really enjoyed our short time here and it was a great place to start our trip. Greg let us store our bags for the day, as we went diving/snorkeling at Cano island.

The location with the direct river access is unbeatable. Also it is very quiet in the night and you wake up only with jungle sounds. The hosts are really lovely and helpful. They give the place a special touch! Very comfy beds, very clean and communal kitchen are more advantages. There are not many options for Sodas or Restaurants, so make sure you bring some food to prepare or have a car. There is a nice new vegetarian place down the road, open wed-sun.

A charming place, bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and clean! I loved the kitchen area, very well equipped :) The road to the hotel is bumpy but it's not a problem if you have a 4x4 + it's well indicated so you won't be lost. Very good wifi. Welcoming and friendly hosts, I highly recommend!

in the room we stayed, there is a window without a door but a curtain instead, I might be a little too uncomfortable with that because of the insects!

most importantly i loved the hospitality of the host, Miguel. He was extremely friendly and facilited a great interaction with the other guests, all of us from different countries. I had an awesome time! Coffee with milk ready 1st thing in the morning a huge plus!

A bit challenging to find property in the dark the 1st time, though, most taxi drivers seem to know the location.
