Owner took a personal interest in making our stay as comfortable as possible.

The Location was very good. The Room was big with attached clean bathroom and hot tap water.

The hotel/homestay hosts were probably not expecting any guests and we felt unwelcome. However, I am all for giving the benefit ( of doubt) to the hosts as we were travelling during the COVID times and the hosts were probably too wary of outsiders. We were charged GST but were not provided with an invoice even after making a request. I held myself back to reveal that i am myself an officer for GST Revenue for the Central Government.

Bedsheets was not clean

Breathtaking views, nice and warm wooden property, amazing hosts (a well read uncle who speaks amazing English even though he is from the village), the bus journey (5 hours from Shimla)- I just had to board the bus from the Shimla to Larot and ask the conductor to stop at Mr BL Chauhan's house :) Highly recommend!!!

I had to call 2-3 times for the owner there to answer the call.
