Absolutely amazing location. Literally steps away from the walled city with a few of it from the balcony. Great space. Everything was well stocked. Lots of neat eateries and places to grab a drink nearby. The street is pedestrian only in the afternoon which is really nice (most of the time).

The pedestrian street is a drawback if you're moving in with a lot of stuff. We had to park about a quarter mile away and carry everything back and forth. In the AM the street is open, so moving out was fine.

EVRYTHING. Location is wow couldn't be better . Just minutes from castle, limited traffic beside good restaurants.evrything on door step. For sure we will come back with family for longer then weekend. Thank you for great time.

If we could give more then 10 we would. We love everything. If We have to find some minus would be impossible. We travel with three kids so top stairs could have closer. We use big chair works perfectly.

It was a beautiful property and we had a lovely relaxing time there.

Being October, most of the restaurants/bars along the street were closed for the season or only open Thursday to Saturday. You have to walk into the lower city or to the medieval city for your meals, etc. The bedroom furthest away from the WiFi router had no reception. We moved to the bedroom above the sitting room to receive signal. No corkscrew at property, had to ask the little bar downstairs to open our bottle of wine! The lady who was meant to meet us at the property arrived half an hour late, making us wait at the street corner. Appreciate she had a meeting, but we did inform her of our arrival time. Steps down to back bedroom quite dangerous as not easy to see - one of the reasons we moved to another bedroom.

Location EXCELLENT, 5 mins walk to Castle, short walk across to other side of Carcassonne. Lovely, clean, comfortable apartment, lots of space and facilities. Our host was just smashing, great to respond to messages, met us at the property with the key.. all went really well for our shorty stay. Highly recommend this property.
