I am a very clean person and organized. I was looking for a place that was clean and chic where I felt comfortable. This was it! The place was clean, designed well and I was very comfortable. I liked it.

Too many do’s and don’t, can’t run heat and dryer at the same time, can’t run both heaters and air fryer at the same time. The apartment was cold. Personal belongings reflected the owners sexual preferences throughout the apartment. I’m a Christian and I was placed in an environment that reflected your sexual preferences. Your lifestyle is your business but I should not have been subjected to it. Your interaction with us was unprofessional, excessive and unnecessary. I was told I was dying from cancer and shouldn’t be worried about $10.00! We could have died from gas poisoning because you refused to come to the apartment when requested to show us how to light the oven. Therefore we were 24 hours in an apartment with gas escaping.

The apartment is in walking distance of my favorite breakfast/market, Mercado Hidalgo. Steven even thought of having reusable market bags to lend which I used daily. Cafe and grocery stores only a couple of blocks away. Our favorite sweetbread shop, Panadería "La Mejor", was also a walk away. Steven had the best Oaxacan coffee at his place that sweet bread and my choco milk was all I really ended up buying. I was able to attend early mass right across the street which was nice too. Very attentive staff that was able to help us accomplish a specific task I had to do in Tijuana. The place is so well equipped that I hope to return with more days on my travel to really enjoy it all. My fiance loved the shower! He has a soft bed and a firmer bed so I was happy to have had the choice. A humble thank you to Steven and his helper, Patty. My wallet was stolen in Palm Springs and I had to figure things out in how to pay booking.com and freezing my credit cards. They were understanding and flexible while I tried to fix my mini-crisis. Thank goodness for paypal and Steven's understanding.

A lady, Margarita, sits outside the apartment most of the day asking for money to eat. She is a friendly, respectful lady. I was fine giving her money or our leftovers if we had eaten out. She only asked once a day so it wasn't a nuisance. Steven has no control over the other tenants so I won't rate him any lower for that.
