The hosts are friendly and communicate very well with us. The apartment is very spacious, and the kitchen had extra food and necessities. We loved our stay.

Joe and Darlene provided cereals, milk, toast and cooking utensils. Facilities including toilet, shower, bed and living room was clean. The hosts were really friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay, a wee hidden gem. The unit was very clean, tidy and modern with lots of extras such as cooking and breakfast supplies, shampoo and conditioner incase you forget. Heaps of towels and great off street, secure parking. The coffee pod machine was a great touch as I didn't have to try and find a coffee shop each morning. I will be staying here again. Highly recommend and was pleased to support local.

Wonderful place to stay with lovely extras provided by Darlene like welcome chocolates, butter and margarine in the refrigerator as well as bread, milk, eggs and cereals. The kitchen had every utensil you could imagine and made it very easy to cook at night. We went to the Test Match at The Cello Basin Reserve and Darlene loaned us two portable chairs to sit on, as well as allowing us to drop our bags and food items early in the day. Superb location and wonderful hosts. Thank you for your hospitality.

I appreciated the comfy lounges and the separate dining and kitchen areas. It was a fully functional kitchen, which made it easy to cook. The building had an old-world charm, and having a washing machine was handy. The ocean was only a 500-metre walk down past Shorline Park, and the apartment was a short drive from a supermarket, cafe's and a gift shop.

The bed was very firm.

Absolute quality, from the location, building, facilities and furnishings, to the linen and kitchenware. Faultless. Great shower, comfy bed and pillows. Kitchen is loaded with everything you could possibly need. The apartment is spacious and warm. Couldnt recommend this place enough.

Loved everything! Has all you could need, plus more. The aesthetics and fit out of the house are so elegant and cozy. On top of that, lots of modern amenities such as heated tiles! Host provided a wide mix of breakfast options. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and baking utensils, as well as a full rack of spices and oils. We also got to meet Possum (20+ year old pet cat) & Rusty (pet dog). Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you very much Darlene and Joe for making our stay in Wellington one of the highlights of our NZ trip.

This little place is a gem, a home away from home. Beautifully presented, friendly hosts, peaceful and quiet, and a short walk from the beach.

Just be aware of location - it's a 10-15 minute drive from the city and would not be practical without a car.

Complimentary cereal and chocolates were a nice touch. The place smelled great. It was the only place we've been to that had thought of creating a "smellscape". The whole space was comfortable and inviting. It was difficult to leave it to explore Wellington because it just felt so nice. Public transport was nearby and the local shops catered to everything we needed.

There were no negatives to Casa Felina.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, where do I begin? 1. Great location, within about 15 minutes drive to Wellington CBD and most other locations of interest. Lovely and quiet suburb, no road noise. 2. Beautiful house, and apartment. Ultra clean, and modern with beautiful decor and furnishings. 3. Warm and comfortable. Heat pump on when we arrived. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Couch was super comfy too! 4. Electric throw blanket I adored having the use of. Good for snuggling on the couch whilst watching a movie. 5. Modern bathroom with great shower pressure and fantastic underfloor heating. 6. Lovely cereals and other breakfast options provided, the marmalade was AMAZING! 7. Full kitchen that had everything you could possibly need to prepare and cook your own meals if you want to. (We dined out or got a takeaway most nights just because we were on holiday) 8. Plenty of yummy local food options, and a supermarket in the village too. 9. Secure off road parking (which is a blessing in Wellington with the limited street parking spaces) 10. Great hosts, Darlene and Joe that have put a lot of effort into making sure we had everything we could possibly need. They have thought of it all :-)

Casa Felina is great, it is like a home away from home. We were there for a week and there was everything we needed and more. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathroom was good with room to unpack cosmetics and lovely underfloor heating. There were spare towells, hotties and even a wee sewing kit. The bed is comfortable.

There was nothing to NOT like....everything was perfect.

Place was well loved and staff went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved the juice and the milk in the glass bottles.

Wonderfully clean and comfortable. A home away from home.

The only issue I have was the loud fan in the bathroom, connected to the light.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly but never intrusive. The bed was comfortable and the living area was cozy. It was the little, thoughtful things that made the difference: the under-floor heating in the bathroom on a 6 degrees morning, the herbs and spices and flavoured oils for cooking, the hook to hold the plug of the kitchen sink. There were milk, eggs, butter and jam in the fridge and bread in the freezer - perfect to see a visitor through until they could get to the supermarket at the end of the street.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The quiet location away from the bustle of the city, the lovely soft carpet and the warm bathroom floor tiles. Attention to every detail. The dual shower heads! Never seen that before. This was a fantastic place to stay. Loved having fresh juice and milk in the fridge. Simply amazing. We dont stay in motels as we love privacy and this was totally achieved here and guess what? Off street parking in Wellington. If we come back to Wellington we will book again for sure.

We loved our stay, If i had to answer this question honestly it sounds nit picky. We both love thin pillows, one was lovely and thin which I had but hubby ended up having to have the thicker pillows but that's only to answer this question. I want to say nothing.
