no control of air conditioning in room

The staff were all friendly and polite, although one morning there were a number of dirty tables at breakfast and 4 or 5 of the young waiters were stood around talking

The hotel is becoming DATED and is badly in need of some money being spent on it to update the interior fittings

The facilities at the hotel was good.

The aircon cannot be set to a lower temperature, called the concierge but they did not attend to the call.

too warm bedrooms, 23 degree pre set is much too high!! what about global warming??,

room was large.

it was so outdated. the bedding was so uncomfortable… for some reason, my bedding smelled like men’s aftershave! I was so concerned about that thinking wasn’t the bedding changed. spoke to my colleague who stayed in a different room at the same time, said the same thing! if that was a way of adding refreshing scent, please dont. and the bedding was so rough. it was like sleeping wrapped in a worn out cotton towel. my shower water won’t go down after a shower, even the next night. hotel might have been great back in the day- but it’s so outdated now.

Room was made properly between nights.

Dirty (cigaret smell everywhere, old carpets), noisy (wedding took place in the hotel, loud music after 1 AM), disorganised (the hotel tried to make me pay for minibar consumptions I didn't have, first beer and chocolate, then randomly nuts...)
