The only thing good about the property is its proximity to both central stations in Paris.

On entering the room, there was an overwhelming smell of smoke inside. There were cigarette holes in the blanket and sheets. The bathroom door was a sliding door that did not close and when the toilet flushed, water exploded each time on to the floor. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfy. The environment did not feel safe as a solo traveller and I made the mistake of reading Google reviews once I was already checked in, that warned about bed bugs. There were loud guests on my floor that continued making noise and shouting until 2am, so I did not feel safe, even with my room locked.

No privacy, the walls are not sufficiently insulated. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms. The linen is not clean and the toilets are not very spacious.

Very impolite staff. Very unclean and noisy place. Very small place. The man who ran the reception tried to take extra money for the stay. He did not speak English.

Really nice place - I only wish my visit hadn’t been so fleeting! Rooms are nice and clean, facilities are good, staff are excellent, and the bar downstairs is fabulous. Highly recommend!
