The location

Front desk lady very rude, she said no need to speak English, they do not ask if you want to extend the stay , they were happy to end my Booking, because the Canton Fair season time , the try charge me almost 35 USD for the bus ride to the Fair, because my Booking cost was low as they think 🤔 during this Time of the year ..

The location is close to Turkish and Arab restaurants, also to halal food. The metro (Xiaobei station) is close.

The building and installations are old. Not clean. Noise. The staff speaks only Chinese. Though non smoking, the room reeks of smoking smell.

My room was comfortable and clean; the hotel felt safe at all times. Cleaning service was timely every day. Well-equipped overall.

The foyer in my floor could maybe use an upgrade, particularly the lighting; at first it did cause a bit of a negative impression that did not match the positive experience that ensued! One of the receptionists seemed to only speak Cantonese and wasn’t necessarily the most patient around. Still, a good hotel that I would go back to if I visit Guangzhou again. No issues taking foreigners in!!
