If I could give more than a 10 I would. Jay & Meike are amazing hosts. Jay picked our luggage up from the port and took it to the apartment. Meike walked with us through the narrow old town streets showing us the way. The apartment was beautiful, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Nice and secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. As soon as you enter the front door you are transported into a little calm oasis. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us and bottled water in the fridge. Even a small sweet left each side of the bed. When we left Meike gave us a small present, a really lovely gesture. Our only regret we didn’t stay longer.

Jay and Meike are excellent hosts. Our stay was short, and we were well cared for and enjoyed every minute spent at this beautiful apartment. The location is excellent. Very easy to find and a short stroll through a labyrinth of quaint cobbled streets. The apartments themselves are arranged in a serene courtyard with several tranquil seating areas nestled amongst mature fruit trees. A truly stunning property away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas but still within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The apartments have everything you could ever need, organised down to the smallest detail and maintained to an impeccable standard. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Lovely private garden, peaceful and quiet atmosphere only few steps from busy main streets in old town. Superb breakfast with several options! Jay & Meike were perfect hosts - they helped us to find our way, offered a little sightseeing tour, gave many good recommendations about restaurants and even transported our luggage in challenging coble stone steets of old town!

Don't know where to start from... too many things. We requested property owner to help with taxi. The arrival and check-in was really well managed. There is no car access to the doorstep but both Jay and Mieke were waiting for us when we reached the Old Down. The room is cozy, tastefully decorated and feels authentic with a beautiful garden. The real reason to stay at this place are the diligent hosts Jay & Mieke. Amazing duo... great people to talk to and always concerned about the comfort of guests.

What an amazing place and equally amazing hosts. We had the pleasure of staying here for 10 days and it felt like home away from home. Jay and Meike are such hospitable, friendly and lovely people who made our stay perfect, our 8 yr old daughter had such a great time also and the treats they provided were so thoughtful and kind. We will miss Helios Garden but we will definitely be back!

The owners of these apartments go above and beyond expectations. Everything fron start to finish was fantastic, the welcome drink, tour of the area with advice, the room facilities and finally the incredible breakfast served in the walled garden. I will definitely be a return guest.

Jay and Meike were exceptional hosts, they were incredibly kind and friendly. My partner arrived a day earlier than me and Meike walked around the area with her, showing her some recommendations for eating and drinking. Jay carted our luggage from the gate of old town to the apartment and then again to the ferry port when we left. I honestly cannot compliment them enough on their hospitality. They also cooked us an amazing breakfast with homemade muffins. The location of the apartment was perfect and came with a beautiful tranquil garden to rest in. We will definitely return!

stunning! the courtyard garden was perfectly blooming. the owners were so personal, they look us on a quick tour of the old town and gave us recommendations on where to eat. we only booked one night and regretted not staying there longer. would highly recommend! and the breakfast was delicious and worth the few extra dollars!

Fantastic hosts! Stunning property in the old town, We loved the fact that the hosts met us at the gate and gave us some insight into the history of the medieval old town as-well as restaurant recommendations, Our apartment had everything we could wish for and the attention to detail was top notch, We thought the breakfast was amazing with all the homemade goods, We were travelling with a 5 year old and the hosts left gifts for him in the room, when we left we assumed that these were to stay in the room, to our surprise the hosts went to the effort of sending them to our home address in the UK, This really shows how genuinely nice the hosts are at this property, no wonder they have 10 out of 10 review score, they certainly deserve all the praise for all their efforts!

The breakfast was exceeptional. All fresh produce. Superb quality including breads, yoghurts, jams and made by the hosts themselves.

We could find no faults with the property

We stayed there just for a night and it was truly remarkable! Not just because of the beauty of the rooms and the garden it self. Have no doubt , somebody may find other similar beautiful establishments in Rhodes with picturesque rooms, lush gardens, close proximity to attractions but it is the people that run Helios, Meicke and Jay, that makes the difference here. We have no words to describe their kindness, hospitality, attitude, focused attention on how to make our stay at their place, unique and unforgettable. All this just out of one night’s stay? Yes without any doubt and without any degree of exaggeration. Meicke and Jay, are considered “ξενοι” for Greeks, however they certainly demonstrate and offer true “φιλοξενια” to their visitors, making you feel like they consider you as a welcomed friend, and not just another ¨ξενος¨ that will stay over for just one night.

The apartment is fantastic, big, well decorated and with everything you need. Everything is super clean and well maintained. The garden is wonderful and very relaxing. The owners are fabulous and very kind, very helpful.. super nice people❤️ The breakfast absolutely amazing.. The best i ever found traveling. Sad two spend only 2 nights here. Absolutely The best place to stay in Rhodos Old Town.

After 25 years of visiting Greece , these were definitely the best breakfasts in a beautiful garden setting. We had so much to eat, we used to take the surplus for lunch. Home baked breads, home made spreads, beautiful tarts and the best yoghurts (with fruit, nuts, seeds and chocolate) ever. And cake !

Doors were a bit squeaky - but it is an old property and this was a TINY niggle

We usually don't write reviews, but this time we believed 'only' giving a 10 would be selling Jay & Meike short. From the very start, they provided the best service conceivable. We loved their beautifully maintained garden (also used for herbs and spices they process in their abundant and tasteful breakfast - don't skip it!), which is like an oasis in the center of the medieval old town. Their personal approach is spot-on, the rooms offer great comfort (beds excellent, nice shower, aircon works great for the bedroom so no sweaty nights), and the price is more than right. Jay & Meike helped us out with all kinds of other stuff and last but not least in these days: they truly respect covid restrictions and advices, making you feel even more in a safe haven in the busy town of Rhodes.

We had a wonderful time at Jay and Meike's place. The hosts are very welcoming and have put a lot of effort in building this little paradise in the heart of Rhodes where guests spend a relaxing and joyful holiday. The apartment was super clean and fully equipped with all amenities. The location is perfect, at a very quiet spot right in the center of the medieval town of Rhodes. If you have a car, you may park it outside the walls of the medieval town and the hosts will help you transport your luggage. Don't miss the delicious breakfast!

We’ve stayed in many hotels but Helios Garden Boutique hotel was next level clean en comfortable. Jay and Meike are incredible warm and thoughtful hosts. They put so many effort in the little details with many cute suprises. The home made breakfast was superior, Meike also made vegan things. Definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect

Unbelievable hospitality - Jay and Meike went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, show us around the old town and help us with our onward journey to Symi. The apartments have been very thoughtfully and beautifully restored. We had a most comfortable stay and the delicious, homegrown and abundant breakfast spread was a treat.

Meike and Jay meet us at the ferry port and while Jay took our luggage on the trailer of the bike, Meike walked us through the gates of the old town and led us via some favourite restaurants and bars (giving us good tips and landmarks to find our way alone later), to their wonderful property which they spent years renovating and now share with those lucky enough to stay here. Both Jay & Meike made our stay special by providing advice on what to see, how to get around and offering to walk us to places if we were unsure of which way to go. The breakfast each morning, as everyone has said were exceptional and all the breads, quiches, jams etc are handmade by Meike. They booked us a local guide, Charlie, who they personally recommended, to take us on an evening walking tour of the old town. He brought the town alive for us sharing his vast knowledge of the history of this wonderful town. This was the best walking tour we have ever done and we would highly recommend you book a tour with Charlie if you can! This is a lovely oasis in a busy tourist town and it is extremely comfortable. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer, a week or more would have been wonderful. Thank you both so much for your hospitality!

From arrival to departure an amazing experience for us. Superb location, house and great breakfast with local specialties. The hosts gave our stay the perfect round up and we look forward to come back.
