It is a big building that have a big living room, 4 bedroom perhaps.

The commen social area was nice. Close to the railwaystation and the pub and restaurangarea.
Nice price.
Very thin walls. You thought that people was in your room nighttime when they passed outside talking.

Very basic; noisy due to people coming at all times; hot room without window (there was aircon). Check in late-after 5pm; bedding didn't appear to be clean/very old.

Great location, quiet backstreet, 2 minutes walk from the station, and right inside the night life area...but quiet!
Very spacious common spaces, large tatami rooms, large common bathroom, and they run a restaurant on the next building.
Staff was definitely not comfortable with speaking anything else than Japanese. Which is fine. Unless you run a guesthouse...

The location of the hotel was excellent, right next to Kii-Tanabe station. The Italian food restaurant right next-door was an excellent place to grab dinner and a local craft beer. The whole place is clean with cool vibes.
The property is an old fashioned Japanese house (which was aesthetic) but means that it has thin walls.

Our train from Shin-Osaka was over 1 hour late to arrive and Asami-san waited for us to check in even though It was late. Very kind of her.
Located in a old, nicely renovated house, the CUE was very comfortable for our one night stay. We didn’t have much time to take it all in before our early bus to the Kumano Kodo trailhead.
Blackout curtains on the windows would be appreciated, as well as fly screens on the windows.
