コロンボに通うには少し遠い。

Arrived after a 7 hour flight delay. Was welcomed and shown to our bungalow ( number 8 ) for some much needed sleep. Kenath arranged our pickup from the airport and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We wanted milk for coffees and tonic water and he produced both ! He even took us to see the fireflies in the garden, with his young son, and switched off the outside lights in the garden in order to see the display. His curry and rice dinner and breakfast were both delicious and plentiful. I’d be very happy to stay there again !

A little distant from town and beach, but that was an advantage in that it was so peaceful and secluded.

Beautiful and calm surroundings. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and the dinner was a great rice and curry.

雰囲気が最高でした。こちらでの宿泊後、スリランカの主要観光地を周りましたが、ここで過ごした一日（正確には半日程度）が一番よかったと感じました。ヘリタンスカンダラマまで行かなくても自然と調和した宿で過ごせます。スリランカの田舎は素晴らしいですが、この宿のオーナーさんの日本仕込みの繊細な気配りや細部へのこだわりが、その魅力をいっそう高めていると思います。

連泊するならバスタブがある部屋があるといいなと思いました。

Het is een supermooie accommodatie in een grote tuin met fijn zwembad. Het ontbijt is prima. De (gratis) fietsen zijn goed. Voor de afstand naar de luchthaven maakt het niet uit of je hier zit of in Negombo.

Het ligt op ca. 10 km afstand van de zee bij Negombo (het ligt in Katana een aanpalende wijk). Er was een restaurant op korte fietsafstand, de host begeleidde me heen en terug. Het restaurant had of pizza/hamburgers of iets lokaals met rijst.

Clean, peaceful with great facilities. We had a late flight so had to check out at 11am but spent day by pool and had a shower before leaving. Excellent host

Nothing not to like

Mooie huisjes in werkelijkheid een schitterende tuin. Tijdens ons verblijf wat unieke vogeltjes en reptielen gezien. De curry is echt voortreffelijk en ze hebben zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Daarnaast fijn en rustig zwembad.

Ligt iets verder van centrum, maar dat was voor ons bewuste keuze.

Piękny zadbany ogród, cisza, bardzo czysto, super domki z rozmieszczeniem na posesji gwarantujacym prywatność, czysty basen, bardzo wygodne materace, przemiły i zawsze uśmiechnięty gospodarz, fajna lokalizacja dalego od zgiełku dużego miasta, dojazd na plażę 15min tuk tukiem za 2 euro. Zamówienie taksówki czy tuk tuka z app pick me bez najmniejszego problemu. Bardzo polecam!!! Byliśmy tu 2 noce na zakończenie naszej podróży po Sri Lance i to była świetna decyzja..

とても清潔で非常に快適。敷地内は豊かな緑に包まれ、朝は鳥の声に癒されます。夜は蛍を見ることができます。朝食のサンドイッチも夕食のエビカレーもとてもおいしかった。オーナーが日本語堪能で、心遣いも細やかでとても居心地が良いです。

Härlig miljö att relaxa i efter flygresa. Kenath är en supervärd, fixar allt, är vänlig och finns alltid till hands. Ligger lite avsides men med tuktuk är du på stranden på 10 minuter.

We had an incredible experience at Mango Japanese House! The owner is exceptionally friendly, making us feel truly welcome. The delicious fresh breakfast and dinner were a highlight, though ordering in advance is necessary. The cozy, clean, and private houses, along with the great pool, provided a refreshing escape. Surrounded by lush greenery, it felt like a real paradise garden – a peaceful retreat away from noise, offering genuine privacy. Highly recommend for a serene getaway!

Heartwarming host, friendly people, relaxing and calm, every detail is beautiful, clean, all one could ask for. A true 10/10.

De host is fantastisch. Hij maakt heerlijk eten en laat je thuis voelen. Het mini huisje is echt brandschoon, goede bedden en warme douche. De tuin is prachtig.

Eigenlijk echt niks. We waren heel enthousiast.

Mango House ligt iets uit het centrum maar met de gratis fietsen kun je makkelijk zelf alles verkennen, verder is de tuin prachtig en de eigenaar heel vriendelijk.

Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Paradies! Wie in der Beschreibung wohnt man in Bungalows, welche sich in einem tropischen Garten verteilen! Toll ausgestattet (sogar mit Kühlschrank)! Der Betreiber ist sowas von freundlich und bemüht!!!! Die Preise mehr als fair ebenso die Getränkepreise!!!! (Haben wir während der 14 Tage auch anders erlebt) Sauberkeit auf der ganzen Anlage! Tolles WLAN!!! Wir waren leider nur 1 Nacht hier. Man sollte aber länger bleiben!!!

Alles perfekt!

Roligt fredfyldt sted med dejlig velplejet have og store bungalow med et sofahjørne og komfortable senge. Mulighed for gratis brug af vaskemaskine. Veltillavet morgenmad. For 7 US dollar kan man få ris og curry samt is til dessert. Utrolig venlig og hjælpsomt personale. Lufthavnstransport fungerede upåklageligt og ligeledes tuk tuk service. Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

This place was so lovely we wanted to extend our stay, but it was fully booked! The guy who runs the place is lovely. The setting is incredibly tranquil. The bungalows are a delight. We loved the little living room area, which was perfect to work or read in. Dinner was great as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was amazing- Kennath was the perfect host. Airport transfer all good and he also arranged taxis to Columbo for us. Showed us fire flies and extra bonus too!!

Our own fault but thought it would be closer to Columbo however it was so peaceful compared to the city so actually we would stay here again even if we did want to go to the capital.

It was so nice. Super clean, amazing owner abd and the best curry ever!! Highly recommend!!

強いて言えばサンドイッチ以外の朝食のバリエーションがあれば嬉しかったです。

The best guest house stay in Sri Lanka in 4 weeks. Everything was perfect, from the communication before arrival to departure. Spacious room with very comfortable beds, great hot shower, good internet connection, delicious food, filtered water, beautiful grounds with a clean pool. The attention to the details by Kenath is incredible.

私たちの滞在は到着日のみでしたが、深夜到着でも心良く受け入れてくださり、色々と旅のアドバイスをいただきました。子供が居ても安心安全で、プールもきれいで、ご飯も美味しく、居心地も良く、オーナー、スタッフみなさん優しくて、大満足でした！また、家族4人1部屋で泊まれる宿がなかなか無い中、マンゴーハウスのKaundaさんは、改装してファミリーハウスを作ったらしいです。網戸もあるし、庭もきれいに手入れされていて、各部屋の建築デザインのセンスも好みでした。今まで色んな宿に泊まりましたが、ここはまた戻ってきたくなる、そんな宿でした。 いや、また戻ってきます！ありがとうございました。

Prachtig aangelegd. De tuin is magisch met alle vuurvliegjes. Heerlijke plek om even bij te komen van de reis. Kennath is een fantastische gastheer.

Very good service from a lovely host. Highly recommend the curry. The breakfast was also very good. Negombo is not special but this place makes it special
