Beautiful peaceful setting amongst the trees. 5 minute walk to the Main Street, 10 mins walk to Golf Club. Well maintained property with very comfortable sofa and beds.

Would be helpful to have had a few essentials such as shampoo/toothpaste/spare toilet roll available. Could be done with an honesty box.

The house was dark and cold and there was no hot water. We discovered on Saturday that the boiler was not on. After a days work and three hour drive it was very disappointing to find there was no hot water. My son discovered on Saturday morning that the boiler had not been switched on ...He switched it on so there was hot water available after our annual family walk. I am originally from the area and have a lot of family in the area.

location was great

Log fire wouldn t burn for more than few mins which was disappointing. Also would be good to know what we needed to bring. We ran out of toilet paper and no shops open on new years day. Also only two dishwasher tablets and no washing up liquid.

The location was brilliant. So many walking trails next to the cottage. The facilities in the cottage was excellent couldn’t have asked for more. Enough crockery and cutlery to cater for 11 people. Hot water in the shower all the time. No one had issues even though we were 11 people. I would definitely come back to this lodge.

All went very well. Perhaps provision of shower gels could be looked into especially if we are travelling for 4 nights. Noted that choice of shower gel is a personal preference.

location is good, only take 15-20 mins to Aviemore town centre. the kitchen had everything you need. owner so kind to leave some books, broad game and dvd. easy check in. general is so comfortable.

bedroom no.1 double bed mattress was too soft.

Clean and spacious lodge with plenty of wardrobe space. Convenient location and very quiet, perfect for an evening walk. Good selection of board games and books for a rainy day.

Price was high for a two night stay compared to similar properties in area, but it may have been high due to late booking. It took around 12-24 hrs for an email response which may be an issue if you need a response sooner when staying at the property. I would recommend asking for the telephone number beforehand.
