Beautiful Japanese house in the center of town, it’s great to have so much space and be in a traditional house. The breakfast was nice too.

A bit expensive

Two comfortable chairs with arms, great for sitting at the window. Showers (2 of, next to each other) great. Plenty of space for a couple. Nice to have whole house to ourselves.

Need to go outside (albeit undercover) to access the loo and bathroom/ shower. Or the kitchen. Ie when moving between upper floor and ground floor. Not so keen on sitting on floor for eating, but it’s the genuine Japanese experience! Struggled a bit with heating - though a good gas heater is provided, we had concerns about potential for CO poisoning as no obvious CO detector/ alarm so didn’t use overnight. 2nd quilt was useful!

Amazing experience in a very nice traditionnal japanese home. Very clean, with much spaces, and a private beautiful Onsen ! The house is greatly situated on the island, and welcome from hosts was nice. Perfect !
