We couldn't find it ,and had to ask in the store below

The room was bigger than I expected, with a great view of the river
I didn’t like that the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke so badly that it made my throat sore. There was also some small blood stains on the duvet. For the record, when sniffing the linens and bedding themselves, they smelled clean.

Bed linen and towels clean
Door to room and bathroom could be improved greatly as with the door to room certainly didn’t feel safe.

location was excellent
No toilet paper or towels in the room. The glass in the bathroom had fake eyelashes stuck to it. Disgusting. Wish we could have changed hotels.

Loved the locality, people were very friendly .
The road works that woke us very early, but that was no fault of where we were staying 🙂

I liked the location it was central to every thing. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
There was 2 things I didn't like. It was hard to find the place no sign to say the name of the townhouse. There was no handle on the bathroom door.

The bed mattress was good. Location was good as it was in the centre of Kilkenny city just near the bridge over the river.
Very bad rotten oil food smell, extremely stuffy, very bad musty mouldy smell, couldn't open window as it opened out to a very smelly rotten food smelly area with a cooker vent. Dirty drain smell from toilet and 1 foot diameter of severe black mould on ceiling above shower. Room had no bedside lamps and had only one pillow per bed, it provided cushions instead of second pillow. Main problem was the awful smell and terrible stuffiness.

We turned up to book into our room. We were standing outside when a lady from the coffee shop told us that our room wasn't available and we had been moved to a different location altogether. There was no email/text/phone call to tell us they had moved us. We only found this out when trying to book into our room and even then it was someone from a coffee shop who told us and no-one from the townhouse. The accommodation we were then sent to was disgusting. There wasn't even a bin in the room. There was a huge brown stain in the middle of the carpet. We had booked and paid for a double room. We were given a triple room with all single beds at the new place. An alarm went off in the building at 9am. At this stage after been woken all night with people fighting next door. We just got our stuff together and left. We just got engaged that day and was looking forward to a night away celebrating. This is not what we signed up for.

The location was fantastic it was central to everything . It took us around 2 minutes to leave the location and be in a bar . The room itself was a little small but it was very comfortable and great value for money
There was no irons in the room that is my only complaint

The place was pretty central but accommodation certainly did not match the price and we are experienced travellers in Ireland

You pay for the location here and not anything else. Fabulous views and close to the centre of the city. The room was also a decent size, as was the bathroom too. I never felt cramped.
The wonderful location also means it is very noisy (live music late into the night at local venues) and I was unable to close the windows (not that I could have had them closed for too long as it was a very warm room and there were no fans). I didn't mind too much myself as it was fun but it could well cause problems for others. There was no cold water available when I first arrived so I was unable to brush my teeth nor have a desperately needed shower or even a quick wash after travelling for a very long time. It was also noisy as they were carrying out refurbishing works (hence the lack of cold water). No discount was offered due to the noise (nor the lack of cold water for around 12 hours or so), which I would have expected. A more minor niggle but there were also no clothes hangers in my room (there was a rail) and nor were any supplied when I pointed out the lack of these. The lack of breakfast, which I knew about in advance, was also a shame for the price paid. Woefully slow internet too! I had to sit on the steps outside the bathroom to get a fairly decent reception.

Location & friendly staff
Shower was either very hot or freezing cold but in all fairness we never reported it but had we I'm sure the staff would have resolved

nothing
Difficult to find. No cups or glasses. Far to expensive for condition of property. This was the last hotel of a road trip around Ireland and was by far the poorest and the most expensive of them all.

Could not find the place as there is no sign. The ladies in the cafe were nice and helpful but the place itself was kind of a dump. We paid for 4 nights and only stayed for 3 and paid over $200. a night.
