You can’t beat this location. We loved it. Walking distance to everything you could possibly want to see in the heart of Rome!
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The bathtub/shower situation and limited hot water

2nd floor stairs are shaking.

even though we arrived late, we were given instructions and met by host
The stairs to the upstairs loft bed are quite precarious and seem like they need refurbished. The furniture on the very small balcony could use replacing. The apartment, though large in size has a strange flow. The shower in one of the bathrooms is really too small for an adult to use. The living room furniture could use updating. The building itself seems to house a lot of offices, never saw any other residents and it felt a little odd going in and out.

Alice(Alicia), our host, is a true gift to her guests, including the 2 of us.She tends to every detail impeccably. The word comfort comes to mind when we describe this well appointed 3 bedroom apartment.(our friends stayed over before returning home the next day. They also appreciated the many black and white framed photographs.)
The apartment has a lift which after a day of walking on Rome's pavers is a welcome sight.
The soaking tub is a plus plus.
The beds are so comfortable and the quiet of the apartment serves to create a good night's rest.
The location was perfect for our needs as this was our third trip to Rome, and we wanted to revisit many of the areas near the Pantheon, to include Piazza Navonna, La Fontana de Trevi,
so many churches with Caravaggio paintings, our favorite rooftop for a cold drink, our favorite bakery Il Fornaio, and so many very good restaurants, many suggested by Alicia.
We cannot wait to return and stay at Suite Rondanini, next time for longer still.

Location, that's all.
The property was falling to bits, it was in a very bad state of repair and dirty. We were a family travelling with my 76 year old mother, in the morning noone was able to have a shower as the shower cubicle and shower itself were very old and the water would not adjust properly and scalded my mother. Noone could get it to work properly. In the second bathroom there was a decrepit over bath shower without a hook and again the temperature was impossible to adjust and when it did you had to hold the shower to shower yourself.
Everything in the apartment was falling apart, including the coffee table with the detached legs, one evening my mother was in the lounge and the table collapsed on her foot because of the loose legs. In addition to this the stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom were loose and old and had exposed screws that weren't screwed in fully and hurt our feet.
The beds were also very old with mattresses that dipped in the middle and made sleep very uncomfortable.
The kitchen was dirty and the microwave seemed like it hadn't been cleaned inside for months.
Also, the apartment is a danger to health. In the second bathroom with the shower over bath, the water sprays on the wall which has a light switch on it, if not careful with this, water can enter the light switch and electricute anyone in the shower.
Also, endless cables with several plugs coming out, a sure fire hazzard.
This apartment is not worth the expense and we were so close on the first night to get a hotel. We had travelled throughout Italy from Venice, to Florence, to Naples and then finally to Rome. All our bookings on Booking.com were fabulous apart from this one, which ruined our stay in Rome. Do yourself a favour, do not book this accomodation. Booking.com should investigate this property for health and safety reasons.

Location was very central. Alice was a great host and we were able to drop off our luggage as we had arrived early in the day.

Umbrellas were left for guest use which was a very thoughtful and useful feature as it rained while we were there.
Consider bringing earplugs as the location is very central and can be noisy in the night.

Alice was very communicative and attentive. The home was absolutely stunning and surprisingly large. Prime location in a very secure and historic building. The decor was lovely and we felt like royalty!

Everything we need was there. Thank your for hospitality.
Need a holder for showerhead. It would have been great we could watch TV shows. There was apple TV, but it was little difficult to figure out how to watch regular TV programs. Having access to Netflix would be great!

Nice apartment right in the heart of Rome. Everything we visited was within walking distance, very convenient.
The head of the shower is a bit annoying, but it was not such a big problem.

sometimes toilet did not work - shower was either too hot or too cold, but host will solve this for next guests

The location is excellent, so is the host. Her communication extremely clear and swift, she did everything she could to make our stay pleasant.
One of the beds was not the most comfortable when two adults were in it. It was a sprung mattress, which dipped.
