Great location and amenities.

Lovely little hotel. Perfect hotel for relaxation and close to some nice restaurants. There is a bus stop just around the corner giving easy and affordable access to the city centre. The hotel can provide you with a day pass, just ask at reception. We really enjoyed our stay. Merci, Hôtel Le Lagon :).

The reception staff were fabulous. They spoke English well and were always helpful and gave us lots of great suggestions for our holiday. The hotel is very comfortable and the hot tub outdoors is amazing! We were in it every day. The gym is very well equipped and the fish feeding daily is definitely worth going to .
All good!

The accommodation suited us perfectly. The suite was nice and clean.
All went very well

Very noisy room located next to very busy road plus roadworks and noisy passers-by at all hours of the night.

WE Enjoyed our apartment immensely. Great view !
My husband did find you needed concentration to step in and out of shower.
For the breakfast ..found very colourful and presented attractively.
Would have enjoyed a bowl or two of fresh poached fruit presented daily.
One drinks machine not working.

great location, friendly staff, on a main road but quiet even tho there was a lot of building work.
Ok hotel. Very 90’s decor ie a bit tired. Internet was pretty rubbish and kicked you off literally every few minutes. It’s ridiculously expensive for what you get. The pool area wasn’t accessible for half of our stay which would be fine if they had a) communicated that and b) taken into consideration that the seafront was off limits due to building work and a shark attack. Worth remembering that this is only a three star, and you do get a three star hotel (most definately not what you pay for). Air bnb probably better for Noumea - all accommodation was super expensive so either spend a ton on five star or much less on Airbnb. This 3 star wasn’t worth the price

location wad also good
I definitely left my swimwear in my room, but they said “we didn’t find it”. it was so sad. I know that my swimwear is still in this hotel…

The pool and location were great.
Room was slightly small for a family of 4. Kids bed was not the comfortable but adult room great.

We stayed on 2 occasions and each time the pool was ver nice and warm, 28 degree, so was the spa-36. The staff were all excellent and very helpful. We used the laundry and washing machine dryer worked really well. The beds were very comfortable! There is a free aquagym class for the client we were very welcome by the regular participants and it was fun. There are lots of restaurants and shops just minutes down the road and the beach.

The pool and hot pool was great with sun beds.
The shower/toilet did not have window and poor ventilation.
The blanket on the bed was heavy and the AC was blowing straight on the bed.
The room was very small and hard to be doing anything else than sleeping.
We did not get offered pool towels when we came in.
When we were leaving our airport shuttle, organised by the hotel arrived 50 minutes after our pick up time, there was no compensation offered.

The location was great, and even though my room was located on the roadside, it was pretty quiet.
Not having wine glasses. Some of the staff did not have knowledge of their location, which was frustrating if taking directions from them.

very nice facilities and service
As a party of 5 (parents and 3 kids), we had 2 rooms on different levels. no effort was made to change our rooms. We spent a lot of time in the stairs going back and forth between rooms….

Staff were lovely for the most part
Rooms were dated and felt dirty
Photos and reviews were false advertising
Breakfast was disgusting - stale bread and pastries, not a lot of options and had to pay more for hot food even though we had breakfast included
Location was ok, not close to any good restaurants or near town
No idea how this hotel has the ratings it does.

staff were super friendly and helpful. special mention to Catherine in the restaurant for her friendly chats and service. she was lovely.
road works outside made it a bit noisy but not exactly the hotels fault.

Great position, close to the beach, to the taxi boat and close to the restaurants.
The pull up bed in the living room was not very comfortable

Rooms connected via a balcony was great for our family group. The heated pool was good as the weather was cooler and wetter than we were expecting.
Staff advised us of time required to allow to get to the local airport for our flight to Isle of Pines. However, the taxi we booked through the front desk did not show up and we subsequently missed our flights out to the Isle of Pines. If you are requiring transport ask for a private car not public taxi!

The hotel was very comfortable. Room service breakfast on the weekend was a nice touch. Lovely pool & spa, nice and sunny in the mornings!
We had two stays. The room on the 3rd floor was much quieter (less streeet noise) than the room on the 2nd floor. House-keeping didn't happen after our first night, but we didn't let the reception know, as we didn't really need a service.

Huge bed / nice balcony/ jacuzzi in the spa area were all great. I found the girls at the reception very helpful as well

Close to public transport and eateries. Small but perfectly formed pool and spa area. Staff were very helpful.

The whole experience was tarnished by being overcharge by about $250 Australian dollars and not being reimbursed.
I was overcharged 17,000 XPF, equivalent to A$250, on the 12 July 2022, and I have the document to prove this. Since then I have sent numerous emails and made a phone call to get the reimbursement of my money but to no avail. The standard response has been 'It will be done this week' or 'The accountant is very busy'. Now they are ignoring my emails. I am very upset because it is tantamount to theft.

Excellent, helpful and well-informed staff; good location close to Anse Vata Beach, shops, the Aquarium des Lagons; bus stop across the road with a direct line to the city centre; comfortable room with balcony to eat
Swimming pool was small.
