I know it’s not really a norm to clean after yourself using handheld bidet, but I just wish they would consider installing handheld bidet.

Very good condition and facilities at the apartment, and the staff was great and helpful. The location is a little difficult to get especially if you are trying to go on foot I recommend going by car or cycle. The view is wonderful and very silent! Also is very close to the teleferik station that goes to First Mountain.

The only thing that confused me a bit was the deposit of 300 that they need because if you want to get your money back the day that you leave you have to pay by cash otherwise if you pay by card it might be 1 or 2 weeks to return your money

kitchen was a bit dated, time for a refresh.

Its very spacious, all amenities provided are awesome and the view from the unit is unbelievable

the pillows are little bit too soft and the location is slightly further and need to do a bit of hiking, especially after you miss the last bus from the train station.

great location with beautiful valley and Mountain views. We loved to spend time on the balcony admiring the Mountains. Short walk to Grindelwald town centre, easy access to the bus for exploring the region. Near to shops and restaurants and well located for First. The property was really well equipped. It had most things we needed (and we were happy to see it even had a fondue kit) the apartment was very clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in a traditional Swiss chalet.

Nothing. We did find it a bit pricey but this is because this region has a high cost of living. Comparatively in the region, these apartments were pretty good value.

Apartment was spacious and comfortable. The whole apartment was super clean. View from the balcony’s one of the best. Even though it was low season, and part of the hotel was closed, the host and everyone working at the time was very accommodating, nice and super helpful.

Our economy apartment was upgraded to Family but we did not like the room with crib inside. It was not comfortable.

Apartment just as described, all amenities as described, good communication with the hosts who were very responsive. Would not hesitate to stay here again! And of course, incredible view out of the balcony and front lawn.

Clean, practical and well equipped and maintained. The view from the main room and terrace is amazing!!! Quiet location but a short (10 minute) walk down a footpath to the main shopping area and the First Bahn cable car station, local buses etc. Excellent service on site from the staff at the Kirchbühl Hotel which owns the apartments and will deal with any enquiries, and a wonderful restaurant for a special meal out, only 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The apartment has excellent views on the balcony. Kitchen is well stocked and even has a Swiss Fondue pot. It is part of a hotel which has a shuttle that picked us from and dropped at train station - really nice driver and extremely on time. I was told by front desk that he would arrive at 10 am (our train arrived at 9:40) and he arrived 10 am sharp. Although we arrived early, front desk was able to check us in as the room was ready. It is also conveniently located a few steps away from bus station, so going to the train station is just a short 5-minute ride.

The owner shocked us with the way he talked with us - I could sugar coat it as culture differences. I think other travelers who didn't have to talk with him would feel very differently about this place as the girls at front desk and driver were all super nice. We originally had some disputes over 1) they charge for extra towels 2) they didn't repair bathroom sink clog on time, but what really pissed me was when the owner arrived to repair the sink. The entire 30 minutes were essentially him blaming us - he said the bathroom sink was connected to kitchen sink and we let some food residues go into kitchen sink which created clog. He also started to clean the trash can and blamed us leaving some trash outside the can. When my 16-old son was explaining that it was probably because the can was full and he didn't check behind the can, the owner started to say "all these are bullshits ... you should teach him ... you were blaming residents before you ...These are all shits" ... 1) I don't know if the cause of clog was due to kitchen sink but since there was no food disposal we couldn't catch every bit of food in the sink 2) we acknowledged that the trash spillover was our fault but it was our day 1 and we still had time to clean it 3) we didn't stay here for free, nor did we pay to be educated and blamed. I understand he values his property but we were not doing anything wrong - just normal use. The fact he said all these rude words to us, to my teenager son, was beyond my imagination. I didn't want to argue with him because it was our precious vacation and we just wanted to enjoy the time. After he repaired the sink and cleaned trash (while we were having our dinner), front desk called and said they were delivering us towels for free because our dinner was disrupted. I appreciated that and the next two days were all good.

Excellent place with view

Nice, clean and spacious chalet. Beautiful mountain view from balcony. Free parking at hotel. Short drive to town for food and shopping but we came during low season, most of the restaurants and shops were closed.
