Friendly and very helpful staff

The breakfast is great and all the food is high quality and delicious. The service is excellent. The staff is very accommodating and try to give great service. The hotel itself is a sort of museum, with interesting artifacts and artwork.

It is not in a safe area, but it is of course gated and secure. There is quite a bit of noise at times. It seemed like the noise started after dark, unfortunately.

everything was great, clean, comfortable and food was good.

I got bitten by mosquitoes at the hotel quite a lot. A mosquito net would have been the only thing to make my stay better

Carlos and Anna Calejas are without question wonderful and caring Hosts. The Hotel is also the gallery and studio of Carlos Calejas. The trip and the stay there to see his art was alone worth the money.

Beautiful place, set as an art gallery which gives a unique style and feel. Spacious, clean and comfy room. Nice homemade dinner. Divine shower. Ideal location, in quiet neighborhood close to Tica bus station and all commodities. Lovely and helpful staff (they made sure we arrived to the bus station safely and provided a breakfast to take away with us on the trip).

We loved absolutely everything

the most important reason to stay in this hotel is the staff. we stayed here two times, in the beginning and the end of our trip. we forgot our charger but the staff kept it until our next visit. we had to take a Ticabus at 5am and a breakfast to go was provided. also the helpful staff escorted us to the bus station to secure our safety. the ticabus terminal is only three streets further so in terms of location i would also recommend this. rooms are spacious and clean and there is air con, however not the most beautiful room ever but you get everything you need for a decent price.

Was so wonderful place

Very reasonable price. Very interesting property with alot of artwork. Well maintained and cared for. Breakfast was fantastic and included.

Bathroom had a stale odor.
